I have the same problem for the same reason. And is it possible to make it so the equation is rendered in any other color than black?

Thanks again. :)

I don't know, it seems like it's making the image through this URL: http://latex.sidoh.org/?render=

And by default it seems to be black. :/.

And additionally http://latex.sidoh.org/?render= is a dead site since two days, so we should look for another online generator, or make our own somehow. And that lack of + is (was) a pain..

http://rogercortesi.com/eqn/index.php

It also lets you select the text color and the background color (or have a transparent background). The only problem is i have no idea how the page generates equation urls. Guess we'll have to treat them as images for now, Nemomon.

I decided to do a little search. I ended up with a nice one that accepts + and new colors. A color can be made like this:
Code:

{\color{red} LaTeX in HERE}

Since I got the URL, all you have to do is replace the old URL with this one in choco's script(not really editing much, right Choco? You'll forgive me :3):

Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
//Latex bbcode, by Choco of ZBC
$(function(){
$("td.c_post:contains([tex])").each(function() {
x = $(this).html();
x = x.replace(/\[tex\](.+?)\[\/tex\]/gi,function(a,b) {
return "<img src='http://latex.codecogs.com/gif.latex?"+escape(b)+"' />";
});
$(this).html(x);
});
});
</script>

[tex]{\color{red} \frac{2}{3}}[/tex] = Posted Image

Thank you! It works just like the other one. ^_^ It doesn't seem to like white or grey, though, and the borders look crappy because the anti-aliasing is done with a white background in mind and i'm using a dark-grey background. Sorry if i'm too demanding. :ermm:

I'm aware of that....It's the website. Try replacing the last one with this...it might work better:

Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
//Latex bbcode, by Choco of ZBC
$(function(){
$("td.c_post:contains([tex])").each(function() {
x = $(this).html();
x = x.replace(/\[tex\](.+?)\[\/tex\]/gi,function(a,b) {
return "<img src='http://latex.codecogs.com/png.latex?"+escape(b)+"' />";
});
$(this).html(x);
});
});
</script>
