to create spanning submenu links. so people can add longer submenu links and they will space out evenly.

that possible?

Ok I think I have a code for this. I actually found something like this on one of my friend's sites, so I'll see if I can piece it together.

Above the Board
Code:

<div id="sbmu_wrap"><div id="sbmu_l"></div>

In the CSS, find #submenu and add whatever from here you don't have
Code:

#submenu_bar {
display:none;
}

#sbmu_wrap {
background:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/209/108/0/p109637/submid.png);
height:34px;
}

#sbmu_l {
background:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/209/108/0/p109636/subleft.png) no-repeat left;
height:32px;
width:34px;
margin-left:40px;
}

*:first-child+html #sbmu_l {
margin-left:0;
}

#submenu {
background:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/209/108/0/p109638/subright.png) no-repeat right;
color:#6A82A6;
font-weight:bold;
font-family:tahoma;
text-align:center;
margin-top:-36px;
height:40px;
font-size:13px;
margin-right:40px;
}

*:first-child+html #submenu {
margin-right:0;
}

This code I got from my friend's site here. I'm actually not totally sure how it works, but the divs like place it around it I believe. I'm not sure how to get it right above there like it is in the code though, so I don't know if that will work that way.

TTO. you better off doing a custom submenu for that instead of a code.

It would be awesome, though. :glare: The user could add links freely and the theme would be more usable. With a custom submenu, the user has to ask TTO to modify the image to fit the link so they can add another submenu link.

just sayin

It's just all around better doing a new design. It allows for changing links, making cooler designs, better computability, etc. If Javascript is turned off, the person could still use the new navigation bar. It just has a lot more "ups" than "downs" to making a custom one really.
