Code Name: Alternate post and thread hiding system
Preview: http://s1.zetaboards.com/gorgor00

Here's some screenshots of what it looks like for mods:
Hidden threads in forum view
A hidden thread with a hidden post
Step one of hiding a post
Step two of hiding a post

What it does:
- Allows the FIRST post of a thread to be hidden!
- Hidden threads appear in the same spot as regular threads, not in a seperate table
- Changes the content of posts you want to hide for non-mods
- Changes the background color of hidden posts for mods
- Removes the link and changes the text for threads you want to hide from non-mods
- Changes the thread icon for hidden threads for mods only
- Changes the last post info for forums if it's a hidden thread for non-mods
- Changes the title color and adds a message before it in topic view for mods only
- If a non-mod gets the url to a hidden thread, it will automatically redirect them back
- Removes all threads from "topics posted by user:" that are hidden
- Removes all posts from "posts by this user:" that are hidden
- Removes ALL possible links to get to a hidden thread

Step one:
Create an auto-tool that makes the prefix of a topic say:
Code:

Hidden:
The other options don't matter.

Step two:
Insert this below the board:
Code:

<script>
/* Alternative post and thread hiding system by Gorgor
Do not edit ANYTHING besides the variables below */

message = "<h1><b>This post has been hidden</b></h1>"
message2 = "N/A"
color = "gray"
thread = "This thread has been killed."
icon = "http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9e/Lock_icon.png"
color2 = "red"
hidmessage = "THIS THREAD IS HIDDEN!!!"

</script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://z3.ifrm.com/282/7/0/p181631/hide_threads_and_posts.js"></script>

Step three:
Change the variables.

What the variables mean:
message = what a hidden post will say for non-mods
message2 = what the last post info for a forum will say if it is a hidden thread
color = background color or hidden posts for mods
thread = what a hidden thread will say in forum view
icon = the icon that will replace the normal icon for hidden threads for mods only (Must just be url, no image tag)
color2 = the background color of which the title will change to for a hidden thread when viewing it for mods only
hidmessage = what will be before the title in topic view to let you know that the thread is hidden for mods only

How to use the hiding system:
For threads:
First you must make an auto-tool that will make the prefix of a topic title say "Hidden:" (You should've already in step 1). To hide a thread, all you have to do is apply that auto-tool to the thread and it will be hidden from view for non-mods. To unhide a thread, simply edit the title and remove "Hidden:" from it.

For posts:
To hide a post, you must click the edit button for the post you want to hide. Then you will see a button that says 'hide' right under the BBCode buttons. After you click that, click on the button that appears next to it called 'Finish editing'.

If you have any suggestions for me to add on please let me know :D
