First, today I've asked a couple of people that I know played Diablo II if they had still played it, and I'm curious to see how many of us here still play it or used to play it. If so, what are your favorite classes? Any interesting stories you might want to share about a cool item drop or a great character build? I know there is a topic for Diablo III, but we may as well make the most out of this one and use it for everything. Are you excited for Diablo III? Do you think it is going to be absolutely revolutionary in terms of gameplay and user interaction? |

![]() My favorite class in Diablo II would probably be the Amazon, mainly because she is really proficient with pikes/spears/javelins which are incredibly strong if you have learned the required skills to make them better. My other favorite class would be the Paladin. Amazing character that has Zeal which attacks multiple times at multiple characters plus combined with the auras that increase damage, that's a deadly combo. Diablo III, not sure if it will run on my computer(I really do hope it will since the game looks badass). One thing I don't like about it is the amount of classes...there's what, 5 or something? That's not good... <_< To go from 9 or whatever from Diablo II down to 5, but there will most likely be expansion packs to add more classes and whatnot just like for Diablo II. In terms of gameplay I believe Diablo III will be incredible. Using the environment to help kill enemies is going to be interesting and fun, haven't really read about anything for the game - only saw awesome screenshots of the game. Which I have to say looks like the best graphics I've ever seen, since they are using something new on that I believe.

Yeah, they're using some new 3D thing. I forget what the guy said in the demo video, which is on blizzards official homepage. I think yes, the amount of classes is not the greatest move on their part, I'm sure many people will miss being able to play with some of the others that were added to LoD and the ones in the original, but I do think the new ones are cool. Also, I like how you can be a male/female version of each class. |

Yeah the new classes are cool indeed, and I can't wait to try them all out, and choosing gender is going to get noticed definitely. |
