That looks exactly like mine but i took a chance and changed it and it still doesn't redirect back. It just refreshes. |

Hmm. Maybe try getting rid of the redirect (for now), and add something like: echo $tuturl; Just to see what $tuturl returns, in case the POST value isn't being set properly or something. |

What like replace echo "<meta http-equiv='refresh' content='2;URL=$tuturl'>"; with echo $tuturl; ? Edited by PD.Phoenix, Mar 29 2009, 01:16 AM.

Yup. Generally, when something which uses a variable to work properly (and it doesn't work), a good way to troubleshoot it is to print out the variable so that you can make sure it's being set properly. Or, if you'd rather, when you're on the page, view the source code, and see what the <meta> has as the URL it should redirect to. If it appears right (For either), then I'm not sure what the problem is... |

Don't I need the meta for it to refresh? I'm rusty with PHP >.>
Kevin: changing echo "<meta http-equiv='refresh' content='2;URL=$tuturl'>"; to echo $tuturl; did nothing.. the submission page just sits there How do I get it to redirect back to the page you commented on? |

Changing it wasn't going to make it redirect, it's supposed to show you what $tuturl is set as. If it's not the correct URL, then it's not going to redirect. Did anything show up when you had the echo in there? If so, can you post what it gave you? And is there any way you post more of the code, perhaps the actual page that you submit the comment from? It's hard to tell what may be causing that issue without seeing more... |

This is what I got from the view source when I changed it to echo $tuturl; *one sec... checking again* Wouldn't the full submission script be all that's needed? I mean it's the script that's doing the redirect and adding the comment to the database Changing it to echo $tuturl; and submitting..
