that Enhancer program is just an example of what you can install. I don't have that. I don't even know what it is. :)

It said that I have to download it in the instructions you gave me. As on of the steps.

EDIT: Where do I stick the two .dll files? in the system32 folder like it says?

yes, system 32....that way you won't have to ever reinstall them.

I'll have to read up more on that enhancer thing....

google for free photoshop plugins...there are tons of them.

May I recommend instead of searching all over for PS plugins, that you use the FX-Foundry filter pack for Gimp? It has almost a hundred scripts that can give you some awesome effects. It's worth downloading for the layer-effects scripts alone.

You can get it here:

I f you would like to explore some gimp-related help sites, this is a good list:

http://sixrevisions.com/graphics-design/10-websites-to-help-you-master-gimp/

Also, the http://gimper.net/ forums is a friendly place where you can ask questions and get feedback on what you are working on.

this is a great overview topic that will help you set up GIMP the way it will work best for you:

I ran into a problem, how do you save images so that they look like how you made them, because I made an image recently, saved it as a gif image and then it turned out crapy when I uploaded it. What can I do to fix that?
