Is there anywhere, where you can download gradients for gimp? Or anything else useful that can be used to make themes?

I would just google things for GIMP. I dont use it so I wouldn't know where to find them. Photoshop would be better imo... |

Will those work for Gimp 2.6? I'm looking for pretty much anything. Where can I get icon brushes or would it be easier to make icons from scratch? I want to get anything to make some ZB themes and signatures and stuff like that. |

Yes, I just transfered mine from my old 2.4 files when I upgraded to 2.6. Put them in your gradients folder. There are some icon brushes here: http://scully7491.deviantart.com/art/Icon-Brushes-Version-Gimp-39293419 You can find all kinds of brushes to download for GIMP by googling. I have a grunge brush pack, and a Photoshop light brush pack that I've downloaded. But there are so many, you really need to look at them for yourself and decide which ones you might like to use. You can use Photoshop brushes and some scripts if you have the pspi.exe plug in and the two corresponding .dlls installed. Msvcrt10.dll Plugin.dll Edited by HelenaZF, Feb 6 2009, 12:38 AM.

http://akvis.com/en/graphic-tips/gimp-add-plugins.php That gives instructions and downloads, but for an older gimp version. The pspi.exe is the same...I just keep transferring it to the new folder when my Gimp updates. Put the pspi.exe file in C:\\Programs \Gimp 2.0\lib\gimp\plugins IN GIMP 2.6.4, onnce you install the pspi.exe file, the Photoshop plug-in settings link will appear in your Filters menu Set up your file paths to find the PS plugins. You can make a new folder for them if you like, or you can just put them in the Gimp plugins folder. You will be able to use some of the simple photoshop plugins of the .8bf exensions...some of the more complex ones often will not work. You might find some more useful info here: http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/pspi.html Edited by HelenaZF, Feb 6 2009, 11:36 AM.

I don't understand your question. We are talking about GIMP, and how to make PS plugins work in gimp. You don't need to have PS to do that.
