Here is what it is doing: any title that has KYM in it (by itself or in a word) is showing the image but the wording is showing ''undefined''.

changing to lower case letters makes the difference.

well its hard to view what your topics were like without the code running but it looks like you dont have [ ] around some of those words or something which causes it to do that.

The code is running but using lower case letters

Having [] around the words did not matter, just having KYM in the topic tile did it.
It could be [KYM], [KYMCO] , KYMCO, KYMCUSA, KYMABCDEFGHIJK... all get replaced.

Changing in to lower case letters made the difference.

Not sure what you mean that I won't let you.
The code is still in and working since I changed it to lower case letters.

What is it you want me to do ? Let me know and its done asap

ok i figured our your problem. your topics dont have [whatever ] in front of them. they just have the name.

make an auto-tool to add in [whatever ] before the title. than select all the topics with whatever than the code should work.

I noticed that in IE that the [something] is case sensitive so [SOMETHING] will not work unless it is also tagged, where as if your using ff it comes up with undefined if you tag both upper or lowercase so almo added the following code to get around this
Code:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
/*created by Holysavior of ZBCode */
/*Edited by almo_no1 of softwareworld*/
function imageheader(words,zimg) {
$(".c_cat-title a").each( function() {
var newtitle = this.innerHTML.split("]");
if(newtitle[0].match(''+words+'',"i")) {
$(this).html("<img src='"+zimg+"' alt='' /> "+newtitle[1]);
}
});
}
// functionname ("LETTERS IN THE [ ]","IMAGE YOUR GONNA USE")

imageheader("ZB","http://z3.ifrm.com/48/55/0/p37340/nonewpost.png");
imageheader("IF","http://z3.ifrm.com/48/55/0/p37346/hotnonew.png");
</script>
<!--[if gte IE 7]><script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
imageheader("zb","http://z3.ifrm.com/48/55/0/p37340/nonewpost.png");
imageheader("if","http://z3.ifrm.com/48/55/0/p37346/hotnonew.png")
</script><![endif]-->

Sorry to bring this up, but my original request was to have this to work with buttons. Anyone found a way to do this?
Thanks again.
