I would be happy to write some. ![]() I think the thing about tutorials is that people are too lazy to read through most of them because of how in depth they can get; but the more in depth, the better one can understand the actual function of what the tutorial is teaching. Perhaps having more video tutorials, more one on one tutoring or even a live class at a certain time of week in a chat would entice new coders to learn something a bit more. There could be multiple beginners in there at once, and be able to ask questions as it's happening. |

I just noticed the Code University, which is good. I also agree. Some tutorials can be in-depth which drags some people away. Breaking it up into chunks would be good, as that could help people mentally break it up to see it piece by piece with things like "Ok, I got the first part done. I have to go, but I can start at part 2 when I get back" rather than losing their place in the entire tut. Video tuts are great, one of the best really. It's easy to follow visually. Perhaps like a weekly one hour IRC session would be good, sort of like the classes that were taught at iFusion? That could work out pretty nicely. |

I would recommend the Exclusive code section. I have it on my forum and the members who have 100 posts like it. I havn't put a code in there in awhile due to the lack of new codes. |

For those who are learning to code, there could be some kind of weekly assignment that each classmate must complete and submit. I always thought that was a good way to start off, and I know I asked this of someone once on another board. |

I'll make sure I put my effort of making a larger ZBCommunity. The new upgrade looks very promising.

The only way you can advertise at ZB Support is to do it in your siggy. Dan made a great siggy logo our admins use there which is also in our sig here. |
