I like both systems actually. It took a while for people to start making good themes for ZB, but now there are some really beautiful ones out.

I think the hating on ZB thing is a lot like sports team fans. You get fiercely loyal to it and everything else is seems like junk.

I liked ZB from the start, but that's just my opinion.

Same. My only problems are, as someone mentioned, the Administrator Control Panel is sort of hard to navigate and themes are difficult to make. Other than that it's really good.

I agree with Viral and Choco ZB I loved it from the start, the look and everything it only took me a matter of moments to understand everything in it...but then again I read a bit on how it works...

though I do think like said that people just get to loyal to want to try or understand another software...like Windows and Linux.
Looking for RP'ers whom know a bit about DnD and other Such for a ZB forum...

Yup, people reject the unfamiliar. Tend to not give it a chance and just say it's shit.

The Admin CP was a little confusing at first, but I've got the hang of it now. Aside from that, I guess you could say I liked it from the start. Plus, it just seemed so much better than IF from the start.

I think the only thing that was difficult to adapt to at first, like many have said, was the Admin CP. I love the fact that the CSS is vast. Although it does take longer to style, it is a huge deal in customization and modification. You are able to do so much more, with code as well, with less.

I hate how ZB looks so...bulky. That's why I prefer If/IPB over it but I have to admit, the ACP is far superior than IF.

You'll find a lot of people dislike free hosts, because they generally aren't used to build a long-lasting community. I see it as just a way to meet other people - it's just free. ZetaBoards isn't a bad software - it's one of the better ones, to be honest, because it has quite a few capabilities that others would need intense coding for. It's sort of just the way Brandon built the software.
And the best part is, it's always being updated, conversions from InvisionFree to ZetaBoards are quick and easy, I personally just love it. :P
