It's kinda like when you are a new student in a school, everyone has doubts about you because you are new. The same goes for ZB - because it's new.

Well, it's pretty much true. Of course, personal preference. I personally go for the overall experience. I don't find ZB all that special compared to other forum softwares. And when it comes to skinning it, it's a pain in the ass, not to mention a lot of the HTML structures don't help you.

I find it much less intuitive than Invisionfree. Figuring out IF on my own was much simpler than trying to decode where Zetaboard has put everything. It seems somewhat disorganized and clumped together sometimes.

Also, I find the default theme to be... ugly? It's blue and orange and somewhat... unappealing.

I like ZB more than IF because of the features, but the skin appearance code is waaay to long for me as compared to IF's code.

The same thing can be said about skinning IP.Board, yet people do it and do it well.

I haven't started to learn the workings of ZetaBoards as of yet, but when I do I wont say it's difficult and give up.

The more difficult it is to learn means more time is required; meaning a higher quality is gained as well as knowledge.

If I can find a code that would allow the posting of any embedded codes or videos then I would love it but I miss this feature from my InvisionFree site.

Actually all I like about invisionfree now is it's simplicity and the effectiveness of it's admin cp. Mind you, Zetaboards does have a lot to battle out to IPB 1.3 Final Version. The admin cp is a bit more compact, and there's really a lot of features that we just don't know have a lot of meaning in admining a great forum :D

The ZB CSS is much more ridiculous than it should be, it's pretty jumbled and includes a lot of things that don't even need to be edited.

I personally prefer IF and ZB to most other softwares, but honestly, it's just because I'm more accustomed to it. IPB feels bulky to me (as a member, not an Admin). IF and ZB feel much lighter.

You'll find a lot of people dislike free hosts, because they generally aren't used to build a long-lasting community. I see it as just a way to meet other people - it's just free. ZetaBoards isn't a bad software - it's one of the better ones, to be honest, because it has quite a few capabilities that others would need intense coding for. It's sort of just the way Brandon built the software.
