As you may have noticed, our Outie comes with a non-maintenance-free battery.

I have always been used to maintenance-free batteries and I have no idea how to check our batteries?

Distilled water ba yung nilalagay dun?
And when do you add distilled water?

Does this battery last forever?

When do you know its time to replace?

Once a month, I unscrew the 6 covers at the top and check the water level. If the battery cells are exposed, pour battery water to cover them but dont let the water overflow.

Even a properly maintained battery wont last forever...but you could stretch it to 5 years of use, typically you'd want to replace it every 3 years.

Also, it's better have the battery checked each time during the PMS...dealers usually throw this is in for free if its not part of the routine schedule.
