As the label says, put together a situation where the three listed above become individual nations. Bonus for pre 1850 PoD. Extra bonus for a map. |

I suppose it might happen if Poland survives and Prussia remains a vassal state, leaving Bavaria (?) to take the leading role in uniting Germany... but unlikely. |

Post WWII, instead of having East and West Germany, they split Prussia away from the rest of Germany. And yes, I am being tongue-in-cheek. |

I was also thinking of a Napoleonic era PoD, where Prussia doesn't win Westphalia and the Rhineland. A Germany lead by the Rhineland, Bavaria or even Hanover is quite interesting. |

In light of the 1803 RP suggestions, I think that the best option to go with for this to happen would be a Napoleonic era PoD. The Bavarians, should they side early enough with the anti-Napoleonic Coalitions, could perhaps get a Confederation of the Rhine of a kind, which could then transform into Germany without Prussia. |
