Are there any plausible circumstances which might see Britain "do a Portuguese" and pull the monarchy out of England, evacuating to one of the colonies during the Napoleonic Wars?

Bonus points if the destination is the American colonies which were retained past 1776.

Not during the Napoleonic Wars; the margin of British naval superiority was quite sufficient on its own, not to mention the extremely sizeable Army and Militia forces present in the British Isles.

More to the point, the question is whether the British would have the financial tools in place to keep up the fight after such a defeat. Portugal was being subsidized.
