The Testing Waters forum is a place for you to play your character before he or she is sorted, in order to get more familiar with them while you write your profile. The subject matter of the posts within this forum are up to you, but please keep these rules in consideration when you post:

1. Please post logged in to the new character. I.e., if I wanted to post as a new character, I would create an account for him or her instead of posting logged in as Sky.

2. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you do or say You're not required to post in here before you post your profile, but you're certainly welcome to if you think it will help you. If you do post here, though, be aware that it will be taken into account when we decide to approve your finished profile - whether you've shown yourself to be an excellent player and it makes us forgive some profile problems, or you've shown yourself to be a problematic player and it makes us more strict.

3. Please use our standard RPing techniques when posting in here--third person, past tense, etc.

4. Nothing played in here is accepted in board canon--it's simply a test forum. If putting your character on Mars in a spaceship is going to help you develop them, go for it! Just keep in mind that your character won't remember it on the board.

5. All threads here are open. They're fair game to anyone who wants to join. The more characters you interact with the better. Also note that sticking to post order in here is not necessary.

Have fun!
