Lee Whiteflame had strolled casually through the ice palace hours before as if he didn't have a care in the world. To many he was simply the ambassador of Frostfyre, a playboy, but to a few he was a hardworking man. The part of him that was that hardworking man and been working all night and hadn't slept yet. The children of Frostfyre had wanted to throw a party for the kids of Caervinis to celebrate the beginning of summer. So last night after much planning and security details the party had finally arrived. Two dead guards and an attempted kidnapping of an important kid had brought the party to a sudden end. After a meeting with his brother Zeke late last night he had found out what he could.

Sitting across from his brother now he listened to the man who he thought he knew as well as he knew himself. "What do you mean you don't believe it?" he asked nearly shouting. Jumping up as he threw his hands in the air. "I'm telling you that no one seems to know anything of anyone planning to kidnap Jake Morningstorme. And don't you dare give me that look. I have been doing this long enough to know where to look Zeke so don't you act as if you are better then me," he growled.

His brother's next words stopped him in his tracks. "I know you did not just say that you think that crazy Onyx woman could find out something I couldn't," his frown deepened. Turning on his brother to gasped suddenly. "Oh by the Gods you like her!" Though Lee had never met the woman himself he'd heard plenty about her and not much of it was good, or something Zeke usually went for.

Zeke shook his head at his brother almost as if he was dismissing his words. Lee was an excellent ambassador with his people friendly personality, he even made a great agent occasionally when Zeke was in need of him. Sometime though his younger brother could be narrow minded. "Lee I'm not saying you didn't do a good job or that anyone is better then you. I'm simply saying that Dahlia has her own connections as well. I'll have to go through Varden but I bet she can find something we can't," he explained.

He neither confirmed or denied liking the Onyx. "She's not crazy simply misunderstood," he informed his brother. Not once through the entire conversation did the older Diamond's tone or voice change. The man showed no change in expression either. This well honed traits is what earned him names like cold, unfeeling, too serious, and many more. Glancing at the time he realized Dahlia herself would he here soon to go over the plans and all the details of last night.

Dahlia
Dahlia swept into the events office. She pinned Lee with a cool look. "Get out, pretty boy," she said and pointed to the door that she hadn't closed. Dismissing him immediately from her mind to turned her gaze to the event man. "I need to see everything you have on severs, musicians, cooks. I don't give a rat's ass if they've been family retainers since the beginning of time, I want their names. I want the guard schedules, guest lists, everything," she stated. Sure people often referred to her as insane...and even she admitted she have a screw loose or two, but she took her job seriously and she was damn good at it.

Zeke held up his hand before Lee could reply. From the look in his brother's eyes he knew that he wanted to go off on Dahlia. The younger Whiteflame didn't hide his emotions or thoughts unless he had to for the sake of a job. People didn't often have to wonder what was going through his mind. Though Zeke's expression never changed he smiled on the inside amused at the two. "Dahlia I don't believe you've met my brother yet. Dahlia this is Ambassador Cornelius Whiteflame. Lee meet Inspector General Dahlia Blackheart," he introduced them ignoring her commands.

"Clarinda why don't you take Lee over to the Fyre and Ice Tavern and get you both some lunch," he suggested. He made it his purpose in life to never seem in a hurry because afterall he was simply the Events guy. He waited until the other two left before he said anything else. "Why don't have you a seat Dahlin'?" he said hoping to annoy her. Most the time it didn't bother him that people thought he was simply lazy they couldn't know what he really did, but with her it did annoy him. "Hmm now where did I put those papers?" he asked himself outloud as if he was that unorganized.

Giving the woman a look and mumbled something like crazy witch he held out his arm for Clarinda. "You should watch your back Ezekiel crazy people tend to leave weapons behind," he told him before stepping out of the office all but slamming the door behind them.

Dahlia
Dahlia didn't even glance back at Lee. "I know who he is," she said dismissively. As far as she was concerned, it was her job to know the major and minor players in the area. She snorted. As if she'd stupidly leave a weapon laying around.

She didn't take the seat though a nerve in her eye twitched slightly in irritation at the way he called her. She crossed her arms over her chest and waited with ill concealed impatience.

Being a well organized man Zeke knew exactly where everything was. Being who he was he could tell you exactly how far it was from his chair to the door. He was able to tell you the quickest and safest way out of the office or any other place in the palace. What Dahlia didn't know was that she may know who is brother was but he knew even more about her. "No need to be so disgruntle Dahlin' I'm sure those papers couldn't have gone far," he told her. He wasn't sure what cause him to taunt her other then he liked how she looked in a huff.

Opening and closing desk drawers he pretended to frown as if he really couldn't find them. "You know I have to say that I'm glad you know who Lee was before I told you. I'd hate to think you weren't doing your job," he said off handedly. Looking up he gave her a smile that was really only an action of moving his lips, it was by no means a real smile.
