you know may be i look at this to simply , being a farmers kid and all , I feel sorry for this dog but i will not allow him to kill , maybe if he goes to a new home , with a responsible owner he might come good , not holding my breath but it could happen. |

That would be the hope. I have to ultimately blame the owners. Either by lack of training, discepline or love and affection and attention, this dog has gone astray. He is an innocent victim in all this as is any cat hunting and killing birds. He has learned that killing is thrilling or fun, whatever the reason, the owners are at fault. There should be a law, and they should be charged MAJOR bucks for this. I think if they had to put the dog down, that they should pay a HUGE fine for the life of the dog. |

I quess part of the difference in reaction is the fact that if you are raised on a farm, you have had one type of life experience and if you were raised in the city or burbs you had another type. |

If I lived on a farm, now that is, all the animals would have names and it would have to be a no kill farm. I would have to invest in one huge sofa to fit all those animals on it. Also would have to invest in diapers bigtime do they make diapers for horses and donkeys??? |

Well I was talking to my dad last night he come down from the farm to fix Dots tail and drop of Buddy ( new baby lamb ) , Dad did say a few thing that made me think differently ( he is good at that ) He said the reason I'm so angry with this is that I know it should not have happened , but he went on to say that city people do thing different to us ( hold the horses I live in the city now ) and that dogs here in the city are not trained like our farm dogs well to finish he did tell me that this is out of my control and that i have to stand back , and hope the owners of the dog do the right thing, |
