Personnel

Rank Courtesies

-All BoP are required to memorize the ranks of other BoP, and their names. BoP wear nothing to indicate rank, so this is an important detail. BoP must also memorize the names of all personnel.
-All personnel must be addressed by Sir or Ma'am, regardless of rank.
-Ranks Four & Three must address those in Ranks Two & One as Sir or Ma'am.
-However, Rank Four does not need to address Rank Three as such. Ranks Three and Four are technically on the same level when it comes to requiring respect.
-It is common courtesy to address all BoP and Faculty when passing them with a simple "Good morning/afternoon/evening." Sir/Ma'am must be included at the end of the sentence if they are Rank Two and above. This courtesy becomes a requirement if the person you are addressing is rank Two or higher than you in rank.
-When greeting a group of higher ranked individuals, one must great them by Gentlemen, Ladies, or Ladies and Gentlemen.
-It is not required for a higher rank to respond to a lower rank.
-Never address someone of higher rank by their nickname unless given explicit permission.
-Always make room for a higher ranked individual when passing them in the hallway. A lower rank must position themselves with their back against an available wall and wait until the other has passed.
-When asked to state your name by a superior, always state the full name, including code number.
-Maintain a respectful distance from superiors at all times.
-Never touch a superior unless given permission.
-When exiting a room, a superior should be allowed first leave.
-Maintain proper etiquette when around superiors. Basically, behave as properly and politely as possible.

Dress Code

-Ranks Four and Three have the following restrictions: no hats, no excessive jewelery, no clothing that may show an excessive amount of skin, no excessive makeup. Basically, Ranks Four and Three are expected to maintain a proper clean look. No excessively bright colors or patterns are permitted, nor excessive hair styles. Dyeing of the hair is permitted, but it must be natural in appearance (no unnatural colors). These ranks must comply with superior rank rules as well.
-Ranks Two and One have the following restrictions: a somewhat neat look must be maintained. This means no clothes with holes, no out-of-place accessories that attract unnecessary attention (chains, huge bulky belts, etc). No jewelry that makes noise/clatters around. No clothes that may hinder movement (huge baggy jeans, tight skirts). No excessive amount of skin may be shown (this means skin that would not naturally be shown aka, don't walk around in a bra and hot-pants).
-Mock Deployment: No jewelry may be worn during mock deployment, save for a necklace that must be securely tucked beneath a shirt, and a watch.
-All Personnel are expected to maintain a professional appearance (casual work clothing aka no jeans, short skirts, or t-shirts) during work hours. After work hours, personnel are permitted casual clothing, but the clothing must follow the same guidelines as BoP ranks One and Two.
-Military personnel are required to wear their BDU's (battle dress uniforms) during working hours.
-No personnel may dye their hair an unnatural color. Military personnel must abide by the following hair rules: Females must hair hair in a tight bun above uniform collar. males must have hair cut short, no longer than 1/2 inch on the sides and 1 inch on top of the head.

Disputes

-Personnel are not allowed to engage each other or BoP in fights. Doing so risks expulsion from SPHERE.
-Keep arguments to a minimum in the hallways. No yelling is permitted.
-Physical fights are restricted from general public areas, or areas frequented by personnel. This does not include recreation areas.
-Serious fights must be allocated to the combat room. Serious fights include fights that may cause excessive bloodshed.
-Please note that should a fight result in serious injuries (broken bones, any any type of injury that may hinder future missions), serious consequences will administered.
-Should a lower BoP rank initiate a fight with someone of a higher rank, that individual will be severely punished.
-If a fight between a lower rank and a higher rank results in serious injury to the higher rank, the lower rank will be severely punished.
-Uneven fights are not permitted.
-Excessive violence is not permitted (this means excessively injuring someone who has given up or did not wish to fight).
-Conduct fights in a sportsmanlike manner.
-Weapons may never be used in a fight.
-The murder of a BoP is punishable by death.
-If a fight occurs, the instigator will receive no treatment at the medical ward.

Relationships

-Relationships are permitted, provided the BoP's involved realize that duty comes before everything else. Should a BoP disregard mission due to personal feelings, aforementioned BoP will be severely punished.
-All relationships must be reported to Commander Jaenke upon being established.
-Relationships between personnel and BoP can exist, but bear in mind that BoP often see humans as inferior and tend to keep from forming an intimate relationship with them.
-Intimate relationships between different ranks is forbidden.
-Sex is strictly prohibited.
-Excessive displays of affection in public areas is forbidden.
-Relationships must maintain a high level of professionalism in the way they are conducted.

Diet

-All BoP are expected to eat three square meals a day.
-Meals must be high-calories, high-protein, but at the same time BoP are expected to watch fat and carbohydrate intake, alongside sugar intake. Excessive sugar can cause a BoP to become quite 'hyper.' This is the reason most sweets have been removed from SPHERE kitchens.
-Snacks are free, and usually consist of a variety of protein bars. A BoP only needs to insert their five digit code into the vending machines.
-Any BoP caught consuming more than necessary, or consuming too little will be reprimanded.
-Water is the only drink offered in SPHERE. Vitamin packets are available in vending machines to add to the water.
-BoP are expected to maintain their diet when on missions.
-Human diets are not regulated.

Hygeine

-All BoP and personnel are expected to meet proper hygiene standards. These standards include: Showering frequently, keeping clothes nice, clean and neat; and generally keeping their appearance fresh.
-It is expected that all rooms and sleeping areas must be maintained and regularly cleaned.
-Excessive uncleanliness will not be tolerated.
