Heaven, the perfect place. Peace and eternal goodness. No sin, just the best place in the world. So... what about Satan? How did he arise... in such a place? If heaven is supposed to be oh so very perfect, how could there be Satan, who is also the most evil "thing" in the world? Evil? From heaven? The most peaceful place? Home to God, the almighty? Hm... So, how is this possible? Well, if heaven is what it's supposed to be, Satan isn't real. And... if Satan isn't real, he's not the one responsible for all the evil. So... who's responsible? The only one who has the "potential" to do this is God. Yup. So, I personally think that not believing in any religion is better than knowing your God is bogus.

Hey, here's more. The tree of knowledge. God warned Adam and Eve never to eat the fruit. Yet they ate it. Now, here either God is retarded... or he' s not real... God. The one who knows all. Apparently, he "tested" Adam and Eve. Yet he knew. He knew they would eat the fruit. And so what did he do? Apparently he "punished" them. But knowledge isn't a punishment. Knowledge is power. You're blaming Adam and Eve for your non-perfect, non-eternal life. Well don't. It's God's fault. I'm sure you've asked "Why didn't God make this world a perfect place?" And the elder would always answer "Because God wanted you to be free and have a choice in what you do." To commit sin is a choice. Satan was the one who "opened up that choice." Is sin bad? Well, yes, in general. But in reality, sin can give you new thoughts and ideas. You need balance. If there was no sin, there would be no such thing as forgiveness, etc. Another thing: You pray. Pray about what? You ask for happiness, joy, a good life, maybe fortune, and ask for help in daily things. You don't pray to god when you don't need God. You only pray to him when you are asking for something. Maybe even asking for forgiveness. If you were always happy, would you pray? Your life is already perfect. Money, health, and friends. So no, you wouldn't pray. But prayer is the only access to God. If it weren't for sin, you would never even talk to God. So would you rather believe that God wasn't real or that Satan is the real one who opened up a new life? I'd personally choose God not being real over Satan being the "good guy".

God. Isn't. Real. Hopefully... If it doesn't make sense, I might have worded it incorrectly so sorry about that.

I agree, Joe. There's just a slight error:

"Satan" lives in "Hell".

And here are a few other thoughts:

If "God's" supposed to love us so much, then wouldn't he want us all to be happy? Why, then, is it that a woman can't marry a woman, and a man can't marry a man?

If "God" created everything, then what created "God"? Nothing can ever just be there, and nothing can make itself.

Actually, Satan was originally from heaven, but was apparently sent to hell because he thought he was better than god.

I'm not completely sure if Satan rebelling is actually in the Bible, or if it's just in the book by John Milton.

Also, we should probably either lock this or make it admin only before Colin goes off... :D

Why would God test us, and then see 99% of us go damn straight down to hell?
