Opposition was reprinted in seventh!!! That means that we can probably go back to extended format and keep Colin from using his broken old cards.

Extended only keeps the last cetain number of sets legal. They do this because some of the old cards are too good for what they want. Colin has some old cards that are too good. This means that we can prevent him from using those cards and you can still use opposition

Blizzard Elemental is my offensive side of the deck and Attrition is the worse version of Opposition |

Well, the only cards I can think of right now to replace blizzard elemental that should be easy to get are air elemental and jodah's avenger... not really sure what to replace attrition with... how about posting your entire deck and I know a site to email it to to find out cards to put in. |

This is Dan Wicke's though process: "I have gotten into the game recently so I have newer cards. By playing in a format that allows only new cards, I can screw some players who have old cards. How do I do this? Turn everyone against their favorite target, Colin. If it is me vs. him, I will win even though it is cheap stradegy. He is my toughest opponent, by not letting him use his cards, I can disclude him and win tournaments!!! Problem: several people besides Colin have old cards (James, Joe). Ill just lend them cards, so I don't exclude them." Why cant we just do legacy?? I dont really have any cheap legacy cards. I admit some earlier cards IU own are cheap (Land Tax, Balance), but Legacy would allow Joe to play his deck, me play mine, broader deck options, and more trading. PLus, its not like these tournaments are official, why can't the play be more casual with less rules? |
