http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/thatsreallyweek/46241/may18-25-the-importance-of-being-idolother-important-news/ I admire Green Day for saying FUCK YOU to walmart and not letting them dictate their content. so many bands fucking bow to them by making "clean" versions of their music. FUCK THAT. that is so ridiculously un-american. jesus christ i hate that store. the sad part is, there isn't even a ton of foul language on this record. i understand this sort of thing might be a big deal to parents with young kids, but give me a fucking break already. people curse. kids curse. it happens. you don't like it in your music? don't buy it. the need for censoring music is a joke. what is the point of parental advisory stickers if you won't even allow those types of titles to be sold in your store? if this is what is going to happen, then fuck it....get rid of the fucking advisory labels. i support green day 110% and it makes me want to spend more money on them. |

oh, i know all too well. she is an evil evil bitch! ![]() but even still....the warning labels. i can live with that. but this bullshit notion that you HAVE to provide a clean version of the record to get it in the stores? ridiculous. |

I hate Walmart for several reasons and this is one of them. Why in the fuck do I need a discount store deciding what is appropriate or not music wise? label the music and let people buy what they want |

Either way, the Green Day's George W. Bush* album will be a tough album to follow up. * American Idiot |

Oh please....like none of your heavy metal groups ever say a bad word? ![]() I think I've heard the F word 2-3 times on their new album and its not that obvious. Hardly worth banning from the store |

I remember being in the 10th grade and Wal Mart wouldn't let me buy a Best of Saturday Night Live tape without my parent's consent....
