DARTMOUTH TOPS IVY LEAGUE As of now, Dartmouth is ranked 1st in the Ivy League, above the favored Princeton Tigers. Currently all the schools in the Ivy are on the rise except for Yale (having lost 3 straight) and Brown (who had lost 1 game). When we asked Coach Kim of the current standings he said, "Well it's glad to see us at top because in the Ivy League we don't have a inter-conference tourney so only the team with the best standing becomes the Ivy League Champs. In case of a tie, they look at overall record. Since we haven't started conference play yet, it's going to be essential to win as much as possible. The only other team I'm worried about in the Ivy is Princeton. They have a pretty strong club. Since it's hard for an Ivy League school to be ranked in AP top 25, this is our only chance of making it to March. Hopefully our momentum can carry on til then."

vs ![]() Dartmouth Win Streak Extends to 5 There is no doubt that Dartmouth is on the rise as they blow out the Raiders 54-38. In the first half, the efforts by Avery and Birley kept the game close at 21-23 when Beauford would hit 3 3-pointers in a row, ending his shooting slump. In the second half, it seemed as if the Big Green could do no wrong as they kept scoring basket after basket after basket, leaving the Raiders in the dust. Bailey and Fellows would attempt to chip away at the lead but to no avail as the game ended with the Raider's fans booing at the team as they left the stadium with slumped shoulders. The Dartmouth Green have now improved to 5-1 and look forward to defeat Vermont at home.

Catamounts Too Much For Big Green The Big Green ran into a brick wall tonight as Vermont ended their 5 game win streak. The Big Green roared out of the front gates in the beginning of the game and Foust's 3 point buzzer beater at the end of the first half made it look as if Dartmouth was going to extend their win streak to 6. In the second half, the Big Green were ice cold from the field and the Catamounts went on a 28-0 run. Beauford desperately tried to close the gap with a few threes but none went in. The backcourt of the Big Green attempted to keep the game theirs as McGrain would hit 4-4 in the second half. However, McGrain and Mouton fouled out, pushing Vermont into the bonus. From there on out, the Catamounts completely controlled the game. Beauford performed horribly today as he went 2-17 from the field. He declined to comment on the game as he ran out of the locker room. Coach Kim said at the press conference, "Well... it sucks. We just saw a winning streak end but it isn't the end of the world. We just have to get another streak going." One reporter asked, "Coach! What is the team going to work on?" Kim replied, "Well first of all, we gotta force Beauford to contribute to the team and I mean by passing. I'm also going to hold him back to practice his shots because he missed 1 dunk and 3 wide open layups... that's not acceptable. We were lucky that Mouton and McGrain contributed to the team in the second half or we would've been blown straight out of the waters." The Dartmouth Green (5-2) will take on Stony Brook (1-6) next.

STONY BROOK'S LOSING STREAK EXTENDS TO 7 After the game tonight, there was no doubt why the Seawolves barely have any fans watching their games. I didn't know whether they were even taking the game seriously after watching missed lay up after missed lay up and after Richardson turned over the ball for the 11th time of the night. That's probably the reason that the Wolves are 1-7 now after being humiliated by the Dartmouth Green. The game was so bad that Kim sat out Tchana and Beauford before the half even ended. Yes, the two star players of Dartmouth sat out for the remainder of the game as they watched the bench of the team dominate the Seawolves (or in Beauford's case, take a nap while listening to music) The entire Seawolves team did not bother to give any comments on their horrible performance. Meanwhile, Kim said during the press conference, "Well that was at least a win. I mean... they weren't really any where near our level but at the very least we could get another win streak started." The Big Green (6-2) will take on George Washington University (4-3) next at Washington D.C. According the Tchana and Beauford, the Big Green are prepared to win.
