Is this on a 360 or PS3? I heard the PS3 had frame rate issues.

On the PS3 and yeah it does have frame rate issues which makes playing the game pretty frustrating and annoying... :(

but if you look beyond that it's still an excellent game :)

EDIT: it's at least better than the frame rate problems that I had with NCAA Hoops 10... THAT game had so many freezing and frame rate problems that it was almost unplayable.

JAMES MADISON'S POOR SECOND HALF DOOMS THEM

The James Madison Dukes were favored to win against the Big Green. Critics of Coach Kim argued that so far, the Big Green haven't really proved their worth. Also, the Dukes had a much stronger shooting team while the Big Green were known for its struggling defense. Not only that, Salow, Carmichael, and Campbell were believed to be able to shut down Beauford and Tchana (the only players on the Big Green that could actually do well).

In the first half, it was believed that the game would end in a blow out, in the favor of the James Madison Dukes. It seemed that way too to all the Big Green fans who attended the game when James Madison took a 15-0 lead with Beauford shooting 0-6 and McLeod turning the ball over when trying to attempt an alley oop. However, after a quick time out, Tchana and McGrain began to step up. Beauford attempted a few more shots (none going in) but also provided the team with 3 essential steals that would lead to a fast break. As the half grew late and the Big Green began to chip away at the lead the Dukes had, the fans began to get louder and louder resulting in rash and hasty decisions by the Point Guard Bowens causing him to have 7 turnovers.

In the second half, James Madison lost all control. The Big Green stormed out raining shot after shot and went on a 12-0 run. The defense played a huge part as the Big Green would shut down James Madison to just 12 points in the half.

In the end, there was a blow out but to the shock of many, it was in the favor of the Big Green.

After the game, we managed to realize that the teammate chemistry between Beauford and Tchana were not so great as the two were forced to be separated by McGrain, Foust, McLeod, and Mouton. Apparently, Tchana was upset over the fact that Beauford took 21 shots in the game and had 0 assists. Tchana (when interviewed) stated, "Look. He's my friend and my teammate but he's a ****ing ball hog. He ignored the play calls that coach set for us to run and decided to play hero again. I mean, I could make shots. McGrain could. McLeod could. Who does he think he is just controlling the ball for himself? I know that he's the star of the team but man... this is ****ed up."

When asked about the tension of the two, Beauford (after a chortle) said, "Nah... It's nothing. Me and Tchana are good friends and I think he's just kinda jealous in the fact that I had 21 points. I mean, I contributed the most. The dude's just jealous."

When asking Coach Kim about his team and the chemistry, Kim replied, "Well, I'm hoping that Tchana and Beauford make up and that this isn't serious. The two are essential for the team and if they're fight extends past the courts... it could start affecting the way we play. While Beauford is an amazing player (scoring wise), he needs to learn how to play with a team. After talking with his dad, I understand that Beauford is used to playing 1-1 and not team basketball but this has to change. If we make it to the Big Dance, we are going to fall in the first round if this playing style continues."

The Big Green are now 3-1 and will take on the 25th seeded Rutgers next.

PREVIEW: SHOWDOWN BETWEEN BIG GREEN AND SCARLET KNIGHTS

Facts:
Dartmouth is 3-1
Rutgers is 3-0

Dartmouth is unranked while Rutgers is 25th (after defeating Kentucky).

Dartmouth significant wins were against: James Madison and VMI
Dartmouth significant losses were against: Alabama A&M

Rutgers significant wins were against: Kentucky
Rutgers has not lost a game yet.

Current Win Streaks for both teams, Rutgers(W3) and Darmouth(W3).

Notes:
Rutgers is currently the favored team in this matchup. While the Dartmouth Big Green have only defeated James Madison (who weren't even ranked), Rutgers have defeated the 11th seeded (now 20th seeded) Kentucky Wildcats. Not only that, the Big Green are currently facing teammate problems between the two Beauford and Tchana. If Kim has not found a way for them to cooperate together, the Big Green are in for a long game tonight. However, what the Big Green does have is a stronger bench with players such as Foust, McDade, and Logie.

Rutgers prefers a slower style basketball game while Dartmouth (under Kim) has recently adopted the Run N' Gun strategy (after discovering Beauford and McLeod have quick hands that can lead to a fast break). We here at ESPN think that Rutgers will take the win but it won't be a close one. Dartmouth under Kim has proved to be a surprising team. It won't be a surprise here at ESPN if Kim can take this team to the Big Dance in March.

TCHANA HELPS BIG GREEN WIN 4 STRAIGHT

After the dominant performance by the Big Green, it is understandable why the Louis Brown Athletic center was dead quiet yesterday night. The Dartmouth Green (4-1) went on to hand the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-1) their first season loss and improve their win streak to four in a row.

Whatever Coach Kim told Beauford and Tchana after their argument in the locker room apparently worked. Beauford had 3 times (all thanks to Tchana) and 12 points while Tchana went on to score a season-high 20 points while being just 1 rebound shy from a double double. However, to deny credit to any other Big Green is unfair especially after the quick hands of McLeod grabbed 6 steals. The defensive effort was also shown from Tchana as he blocked West (the star player of Rutgers) 3 times.

Rutger's bench problem was shown yesterday as the Big Green's bench had 19 points to the Scarlet Knight's measly 5 points.

The Rutger's Head Coach said after the game, "Dartmouth isn't the same team as it was last year. It was expected after getting Kim to become Head Coach. They played tough and I think they are going to be the Ivy League champs."

Tchana when asked about his performance said, "It was great. Coach yelled at me and Ford for a long time in his office and told us that the team was more important and that he was going to force that on us even if it means benching us. I mean... today... me and Ford showed that when we work together, we can win."

Whether or not the two can continue this trend will be important for Dartmouth's season.

They will take on Colgate (3-1) next.
