Make that 3 in a row! Beat the Marlins 4-3 in a tight game. Reyes started the game with two straight throwing errors and Miami made 3 errors on the day so that definitely helped me as they out hit me 11-7. No HRs for either team and I sneak out a close win. Trying for the sweep tomorrow. I'm 7-17 now and rolling! Zito got his 4th quality start but still doesn't have a win. |

I've really been able to work some walks lately. Got three in the last game and had five earlier. I've never, ever gotten that many walks in the Show before. Part of it is the slower pitch speed and it also helps to drop strike tendency and cpu pitcher control way down. |

There goes my win streak. Lost 4-1 to the Marlins against Josh Johnson who I only got 4 hits off of. It was tied at 1-1 until the 8th when Brandon Belt dropped a routine throw to 1st with two out. That led to 3 unearned runs and the game was over. That play was huge. Also at the bottom of the 7th with 2 out and 2 on I subbed in Hanley Ramirez to pinch hit and he hit a ball to the wall deep in left center but it was caught. Those two plays were the difference. I had rested Ramirez and Posey so my lineup wasn't so hot. |

I won 3-2 in a game that only had 5 hit a piece. I thought I was doomed as Bumgarner got into trouble in the first and gave up a 2 run HR to Aramiz Ramirez but he danced out of trouble as he walked 4 guys. Greinke was rolling and striking me out a lot. In the 7th and with a 2-1 lead he got pulled after giving up a hit. The reliever's first pitch was a changeup right down the pipe to Jason Bay who smoked it 420 feet for a 2 run HR and a 3-2 lead. The bullpen finished it out for my 4th win in 5 games. |

Lost two games this morning. The first with Lincecum who had his worst start of the year. I kind of hung him out to dry a little by pitching him deeper than I should have but the game was already out of reach (a 9-2 loss, 8 runs allowed by Tim) and my bullpen was a little tired. I was up 2-0 in the last game against Milwaukee against Marcum and I was resting Hanley Ramirez, Buster Posey and Brandon Belt but two runs was all I got. Ended up losing 5-2. Big series up against the 2nd place Dodgers. If I ever turn this thing around I will have to do it against my division Rivals. I think I may boost my contact or timing slider up a notch. I need a boost. Quite a few times I have had a wheelhouse swing with good timing and flub the ball. Maybe I need to boost solid hits up a touch but I need more hits and singles period. I don't want to see too many HRs although I'm suffering in pretty much every category. Edited by Rudy, Mar 31 2012, 06:55 AM.
