I started out horribly in game 2 against Texas. Single, walk, 3 run HR to start the game. Then I made a dumb decision later in the game when I though I caught a line drive and tried to get the guy at 2nd in a double play only to realize it just bounced into my glove and everyone was safe. Now I'm down 5-0. Ugh. But I chipped away and ended up winning 8-5. Very nice! 26-34 now. |

Split the first two games with the Astros. Livan freaking Hernandez shut me out and pitched a complete game. I had 7 hits but just couldn't catch a few breaks. Zito had a bad start. I'm the only team in the league not to pitch a complete game lol. |

My slider for starter pitcher fatigue is at 6 and it probably could be higher. But the biggest reason I don't have a complete game is because I have been so bad. When the game is tied or you are trailing you are not going to leave a starter in too long. I'll always use a sub to get a bat in the 9 hole when I can. It just isn't something I've tried to do and my bullpen is really good so it's not something I push for. I may try now that I know I'm dead last at 0 but I won't sacrifice a win to do it. |

I am now 28-36 on the year after beating Houston 4-3. That's not a bad turnaround. Brian Wilson is 0-2 but now has 15 saves. Brandon Belt is batting .332 and that leads the NL over Joey Votto who is hitting .330. Hanley Ramirez has his average up to .250, has around 10 HRs (can't remember this stat) but has 40 RBI which is good for 7th in the NL. He has close to 15 SB and that's in the Top 15. Lincecum hasn't been great with an ERA around 4. Bumgarner has been about the same. Zito has been my best starter this year although he gave up 5 runs in his last start. My defense has improved with fielding errors down to 3. The outfield blunders haven't been bad and my outfielders have only been credited with 1 official error each (although I still dispute some of the dropped balls on the move). My team has 41 errors which ranks 23rd in the league. Hanley Ramirez is the 2nd worst defender on my team with 6 errors at SS. I don't consider it that bad since he has played a ton at a tough position. But here is brutal stat. The worst defender is Pablo Sandoval with 17 freaking errors! I didn't even realize he had been that bad. I've got my next 6 games on the road against AL teams and have the option of playing the Panda at DH. I will have to do that a little although my backup 3B are lousy hitters. Edited by Rudy, May 3 2012, 08:05 PM.
