Lost my first two games of the series. Zito pitched very well and I had a 1-0 lead into 8th only to give up a run in the 8th and then lose it on a 3 run walkoff HR. Game two I lose 2-0 and only get two hits off Chris Capauno who struck me out 14 times. My lack of offense is very frustrating. I'm cranking my contact up to 10 and if I still can't score I'm dropping down to Veteran for hitting. May try boosing solid hits slider which is low at 2. Through 30 games I am 8-22 and easily the worst team in the majors. I've scored only 65 runs and given up 111. My team ERA is 3.58 (12th), I've given up 29 HR (11th best) and only given up 261 hits (12th) in 259 IP. I've walked 47 (best in majors) and struck out 189 (the worst). My offensive totals are pretty much last in everything. I'm only batting .201, scored 65 runs (29 worse than second last Houston with 94), last in hits by 31, last in doubles with 35, last in HRs with 17, but 27th in stolen bases with 10! I have 35 walks which I'm actually happy with (last) and last in strikeouts with 281. I'm second last with 23 GIDP which remarkable given my horrible on base percentage. My defense is up to 13th though with only 15 errors now. Edited by Rudy, Apr 1 2012, 05:04 AM.

Won the last game of the series 4-3 with contact on 10. Beat Kershaw too! Bumgarner got the win. Both teams combined for 23 hits and around 7 doubles but no HRs. Day off for the squad after playing quite a few in a row. I think Tim Lincecum gets the next start and hopes to rebound from his last start. |

Got shut out 3-0. Tim didn't actually pitch that well but escaped a lot of jams. Doesn't really matter though as you can't win if you don't score. Hanley Ramirez is hitting under .200 now. Huge slump. Posey isn't a lot better. The only player playing well is Brandon Belt. I will be moving down to Veteran for hitting. All-Star is simply too hard for me. |

Barry Zito finally got his first win. He entered the game with a 2.85 ERA and pitched just over 6 IP of shutout ball. Won 4-1! Some offense but no HRs but I'll take the win. |

After another couple losses I've gone down to rookie on hitting and have won two games. Actually scored 11 runs in the last two games but on Rookie! Here are some team stats before the last game. Hanley Ramirez hit two HRs two games ago and Melky hit his first of the year.
