I've got 2 games left. At Nebraska and at OSU. I'm 9-1 and ranked #3. Bama and myself keep alternating spots and if they win the SEC championship I'll never stay ahead of them. But we both have one loss (of course me beating them IN Tuscaloosa should make me the higher seed) and the only undefeated team right now is Notre Dame who beat me in week 2 on that miracle play. Still a shot to win it all.

I've got four 5* commits and 7-9 4* kids. I've got the #1 recruiting class so I'm pretty happy although I couldn't get a single OLB to commit and I need some young kids for depth and the future. Hopefully I can nab one in the offseason.
Do you find that strange you weren't able to land any OLBs?

OLB is my only need and I couldn't get a decent 3* interested in me. I don't need one right away and quite frankly I'm not that surprised. This will be a HUGE need for me in two years or I can just slide a MLB over. As long as I don't lose more than on MLB to the NFL as a junior I should be fine next year.

In real life, every team has a weakness. My team is pretty solid top to bottom right now.

Notre Dame lost to #5 Rutgers which puts me at #1! When the dust settled there isn't a single undefeated team left in the NCAA! Of course it helped when I set up the dynasty that I brought Nebraska to the Big 10, put Utah in the PAC 10 (for WSU) and put Boise St and TCU in the Big 12.

I play Alabama which is actually a rematch of my year one National Championship. Of course my team got a lot of luck and weaker sliders to get there which I lost. This time I'm an A team and probably the best team in the country. I whooped OSU at the Horseshoe to get here. I jumped up 31-0 in the game before a couple late TDs left me with a 34-20 victory. So I'm 11-1 and the #1 seed in the title game against Bama who is 12-1. Oregon got a couple votes and is 11-1 but they got left out.

I just hope I avoid the costly turnovers that plagued my only loss to Notre Dame. Hopefully I can play that game tomorrow. My son's birthday party is today and I might not be able to get it in today.

Can Michigan win it all? Yes they can!! At the end of 5 years, Rudy Harbaugh secures his first national championship with the Wolverines by winning a defensive oriented National Championship by the score of 20-16. In fact UM trailed 13-10 at halftime and 16-10 in the 4th quarter. The offense was bad throwing three INTs and two of those were in the red zone. The good news was the Michigan defense was great forcing one fumble and getting three picks and six sacks of their own (all of the sacks were by DL) as well as scoring a defensive TD. My three year left DE set new Michigan records with 41 career sacks and an all time season record with 16. He won about three different awards and had 9 tackles and 2 sacks in the game today.

Trailing 16-10 and late in the game, I did convert one fourth down when going down the field. Then on 3rd down and 2:28 left in the game, my big TE came up huge with the game winning TD on a diving grab.

Devin Gardner will graduate but the victory was sweet! After playing so lousy for a lot of the game, throwing a bunch of picks I thought I was going to blow it for sure. Definitely more of a defensive game as the total yardage and first downs were close.
