My recruiting class will probably be Top 10 this year but it is harder than expected in year 2 on Heisman. I'm through six weeks (6-0) and I didn't get a single quick commit. That hurts. I don't think I'm currently in the Top 50 as I only have two 4* commits although I have two 5* kids in my back pocket and expect another four 4* commits as well. I'm expecting a ton to hard commit very soon (and I need this as well). The spread option is working well although Devin Gardner has got hurt a little. I have a quick QB backing him up but I'm hoping to land a top QB for the future. I have a 4* kid with B speed and agility likely to come to UM. Just hope he's fast enough. I fully expect to be undefeated through 10 games. Then I visit Nebraska and have OSU come to town. I'm ranked #1 at the moment. |

Got a slew of recruits to commit after the last two games and now have the #4 recruiting class. I only have 6 kids left on my board and I will probably get 5 of them leaving 7 or 8 schollies available for the offseason. Penn State jumped over me to #1 but I just beat them 14-0 at home. It was 7-0 until 2:00 left when I picked them off and scored. It was way too close. Gardner was 9-20 passing but my WRs had 7 drops! I've never seen that many. A few were on big plays and at least 2-3 were WIDE open drops. Three of the drops were by my 88 rated WR who usually has good hands. My kicking game has caused me all kinds of problems lately. I have a great kicker but have had a major case of the shanks lately. I missed 3 FGs this game and in the last 3 games have missed 5 FGs and 2 XPs! I'm trying too! I think it's the back swing on my r-stick. I hope this doesn't cost me. |

I actually have both Nebraska and OSU at home my final two games. Played Nebraska this morning and escaped with a 27-24 win after kicking a field goal within the last two minutes. I got gashed on the ground as their RB had 24 carries for 207 yards. Taylor Martinez sucked passing the ball which is how I won. 11-0 and I have 4-5 OSU next. Even though OSU's record sucks they will be the best team I face all year. I'm an A- team, same as them and their defense is an A. |

The answer in year 4 is no. I lost 28-15 against OSU and it wasn't that close. I fell behind 28-3 after they scooped a fumble and brought it back for a TD. OSU had two impact players in the front 7 and a good secondary. The safety picked me off twice and I threw 4 INTs in the game. I simply forced the ball in to tight spots. A real ugly game. What sucks though is that I fall from #1 to #11! I fell behind 10-2 Nebraska despite beating them the previous week and having an 11-1 record. In fact, 4 of the teams ahead of me have two losses and Georgia has 3 losses! I had an A+ schedule and have gotten screwed by the pollsters. I still won the Big 10 and will face Oregon in the Rose Bowl. |

sounds like the real AP voters and the BCS to me, I guess NCAA 11 got that part down.
