Here's some quick stats from my last game- Raiders (me) vs 49ers-Pre season matchup
Rush yards; Oak 63 SF 75
Pass yards Oak 213 SF 259
Penalties Oak 4-50 SF 6-72 yds.

Russell went 10-17 137 yds. 1 int.
Garcia went 8-14 94 yds.
SF Hill went 12-14 168 yds
Smith went 9-14 99 yards 2 int.

My sliders are set to favor def. a little bit for my style(might be weak for most). I'm not a great passer at all. That is why I have my int sliders set to 0. I still get a realistic amount of picks for myself and I'm happy with the AI's numbers. Running is not impossible, BUT-using the stick, and not over using the turbo button is a must here. I tried to design my slider setup to be paydirt football :fred:

After a whole day of further testing, I have decided to go with 13 min quarters with some slight slider adjustments. I will post these adjustments like this (10) beside the original.
here's some stats with the new sliders:
Bills at The Steelers Pre Season game.
Total offense Buffalo 263 Pitt. 366
Rushing 90 111
Passing 173 255
First downs 9 18
Penalties 5-51 2-15
Breakdown:
Roethlisberger 12-19 133 yds.
Dixon 8-8 71 yds.
Batch 5-6 57 yds.
Buffalo:
Edwards 8-16 117 yds.
Fitzpatrick 6-15 64 yds. 1 int.
Rushing:
Pittsburgh
Moore 12-78
Parker 7-9 (went out injured)
Mendenhall 6-19 (another injury-ouch)
Buffalo
Jackson 7-64
Lynch 6-21
McIntyre 1-5
This was a great game to play and I loved every minute of it, although Pittsburgh's running game basically was anemic. Think I went to the well too many times and the AI caught on. More on this game in the Madden moments thread.

Ok guys....after testing game after game after game..well you get the point :spit: . I am now ready to post my sliders that I will be using exclusively :headbang: .

There are a couple of differences you will note, but after reading several threads at OS,and trying these ideas out,I'm a firm believer in what I'm about to present. This my friends,is as close as you're going to get in terms of feeling the power and emotion that is the NFL :headbang:

An example of some of the scores (sorry no stats)...these are all in franchise mode as well (more on that later)
Pitt-44
Minn-10----Min had no running game,Peterson was injured.

Pitt-23
Chi-28

Pitt-28----Both teams were 9-1 at this time
Balt-10

Pitt-6
Oak-10----Oak came in to Heinz field 3-6

Now,the 2 main issues I pointed out
1-franchise
2-play call style

1-As I feared, the sliders DO NOT play the same in franchise mode,so what may be getting you great results in play now mode, will NOT translate to franchise mode. This was the same in past Maddens as well.
The sliders I'm about to post HAVE BEEN made in franchise mode,so you'll get the maximum effect...however,If all you plan on doing is playing "play now" games,I don't think these will translate.

2-Play call style- ever notice how the cpu blitzes, and leaves your wr's WIDE open? well instead of using "advanced" play call style, switch it to "hardcore".....however...if you use the "rewind" feature, you may want to keep it at advanced....I never use it,so losing it was no big deal.

Ok...nuff said....here are my sliders that I have been, and will continue using

12min 20 sec runoff
slow gamespeed with 80 threshold
play call style:hardcore
Fatigue-58
injurys-58

Pass human---cpu
qb acc-28 42
pass blk-55 5
wr catch-40 45

Rush
broken tack-0 35
run block- 0 60
fumbles-35 35

pass def.
reaction-35 73
int's- 5 5
pass rush-97 50

Rush Def hum cpu
reaction- 0 30
block shed-5 5
tackle- 17 15

There you have it....like I mentioned, these have been tested in franchise mode, and give me exactly what I've been looking for.
I'll have games where running isn't an issue,other I can't buy a yard,same with passing.
The games really have that "organic" feel to them,to where I have absolutely no idea what will happen.

Case in point, was against the Raiders...(again Coffee :doh2: ) I was unable to score a touchdown the whole damn game :spit: ....and I LOVED it. I even went to my "bread and butter" plays to no avail.

Hopefully these will work out for you guys,as well as they work for me. I am interested in hearing some feedback if you do try them.
Oh yea....don't give up after 1 game, what these will provide you is the variety and "organic" feel that is football....each game definitely feels different, and the games you "think" you should win, won't always be.
