I think you'll like NCAA 10 over Madden by a little bit. Call it a hunch. If there's some where to rent the game, do so. |

Coffee, I haven't messed with Madden for some time now. I do know I didn't mess with the sub settings at all though,as I read over at OS....screwing with them will have your players not returning late in the games...in other words it sounds as though they completely disappear .The only thing I messed with in regards to subs, was the fatigue slider...I set that at 58,and was getting great results with subbed players and what-not,especially if you had a long drive, and did alot of running plays. But the suction blocking has got me to the point of utter disgust... I'm sick and tired of trying to rush with James Harrison only to get suctioned and stuck to the o-lineman. I'll see how the patch goes, but I'm not holding my breath. I had rented Fable 2 over the last few days, and am completely addicted to that game ...so much so,I just ordered it from Amazon, and will get it on Tues. ....so Madden for me has pretty much taken a back seat (again) especially with the addicting gameplay of fable.

Fable 2 will have you for at least a couple weeks plus some of the DLC content they have for it. Enjoy Fable 2 MM! |

The auto subs was messed up in NCAA and never got fixed but it's not really an autosub problem but a fatigue problem. NCAA had very slow fatigue - particularly for defensive players. And there is progressive fatigue so near the end of the game, players will never get back to 100% energy. That part is cool but the only way to get more subs in the game was to put the auto sub really high (near 100). So you either keep that part low and see few subs or raise it and risk your starters never coming back in the 4th quarter. That mainly happened to RBs. |
