So,I've been reading several threads at OS,and there's a trend developing that hopefully can be corrected with sliders. There seems to be ALOT of int's thrown by the cpu,it seems the norm is 2-3 a game,I'm really surprised nobody has brought this up over there. Also through checking out the various threads,it seems the problem may be the cpu's inability to take the sack....instead they'll just heave it up no matter what, instead of either running or taking the sack. Hopefully this can be corrected with sliders, although I hope it doesn't cripple the defense so bad, that they drop everything. Don't get me wrong...I like getting int's,but not at the expense of a stupid qb not knowing whether to take the sack or run. Int's should be a gamechanging play, not something that happens for the "hell of it". |

I'm not an expert on Madden and I try not to nitpick but honestly I've played over 15 demo games and I haven't seen that many INTs, I have seen a lot of passes that look like INTs that are being dropped though. I guess this may be a retail version problem since I haven't seen the OS thread and it still amazes me how people bitch about a game before its officially out. |

I've seen people complain about that. Dave Wales, formerly of psu.com, commented on that early on. On All-pro default he had played 8 games in a franchise. He was first with 24 INT (2nd best was 14) and last with only 6 sacks (second worse was like 16). That's 3 INTs per game and less than 1 sack a game. He said he didn't think sliders would fix it. He felt it was just a combination of robo QB where the cpu qb would rather throw a ball up for grabs than take a pick. This will probably have to be patched to fix. Spoiler: click to toggle But the vast majority seem to love the game. Could be the honeymoon period but it's largely gotten really good reviews. |

While the game isn't "officially" out, enough people have the game already. I read alot of those posts in the impressions thread,as well as the slider section. I'm not saying it's going to influence MY decision, but reading through the various posts,it is apparent that the int's are an issue,I don't think that would constitute one as "bitching". I only brought it up because it seems for whatever reason,it seems to be getting glossed over....like Rudy mentioned (which I do agree)...maybe it's still the "honeymoon",but I would be VERY surprised if there isn't a topic on this over there when the game "officially" releases. |
