Coffee, I'm with you on Camera Angles. As far as gameplay goes, until they fix the blocking engine this is about as good as they will get the game. Thus I'd like them to just go overboard on presentation instead. |

I went back and played a couple games today, and won the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl was actually pretty well done this year. I had fun with it. It feels a little special, what with the flashbulbs and the endzone and the patches. I'm really looking forward to the patch. This game needs better coverage of the flats, better pass rush, and most importantly to tone down the cpu's tendency to blitz all the time. I'm gonna give the broadcast camera another shot next time I play. It looks really good. I'm just not very good with it. |

It's taken far too long to get a blocking engine that resembles 2K's system. 2K had two things done extremely well: the blocking and presentation. Another thing that would be cool to implement in the future is if EA added a button for "Timed release" when passing. Let me hold down a shoulder button when throwing a ball before the WR breaks so I'll throw it where the WR should be (out or curl) rather than leading them in the same direction. |

Presentation, As I mentioned before, is at least 50 percent of the game. EA has been nothing but lame in what they offered us in next gen. Come one, they had better angles in Madden 03 on the underpowered PS2 compared to what we still have! As for b/c i'd still be using that angle if I had Madden. If you sit close to the tv. it is not unplayable, but it is still kinda like looking tecmo bowl with upgraded graphics. I thought the Ai passing game , more than not was underwhelming. When I can take the Browns and hold Peyton Manning to just 140 yds passing, that is wrong. Then, with the same sliders, The Raiders can throw over 400yds passing with Russell against the Vikings or Steelers? I know football games never play out the same. But, something is weird about the Ai passing game this time. And yes, it is annoying. Edited by DC, Nov 17 2009, 07:02 AM.
