FG's are actually much harder on Madden this year. Most slider sets I've seen leave Power and accuracy pretty close to default.

I too am not a huge fan of slow. Honestly, the only reason I use that speed, is because the best set of sliders I've used are on that speed. The Bill Harris sliders have too many stupid rules you have to follow (like if you actually control your RB, they're way too easy), and you can't get any pass rush with them. Fast is my favorite speed as well. Maybe I'll try the sliders I'm using on fast just to see if they'll still work.

I tried the zoomed slider, and if was zoomed out just a little more, I'd love it. But as is, I have to use standard. I like zoomed because the running game is a lot of fun there, and the passing game even seems pretty realistic, since you can see the rush more, and the way you can see your routes open up is good. But I hate not being able to see much, and there are certain routes that you'll have to guess whether or not they're open. And it's not much fun on defense.

I think I found a method to deal with the fatigue issue in NCAA and Madden. I'm going to start the autosubs really high (like 95 out, 100 in), and drop it by 5 every quarter. That way, I'll have guys subbing out in the 1st quarter, but not have them disappear in the 4th.

Well the standard camera is just too annoying for me to use. The constant zooming during gameplay just irritates me completely. I gave the zoomed camera a solid try and it's not that bad. Both zoomed and wide don't zoom constantly as you drop back. Unfortunately zoomed is too close for passing plays and Wide is too far out for running plays. Ugh. It would have been nice to have an old school option where you could actually set your camera based on run or pass.

The ref conferences have gotten annoying. On the first 5 TD plays in my 38-28 loss to San Diego this morning, I saw 6 reviews as to whether the player crossed the goalline (one conference said no so I punched it on the next play to get a conference that said yes). Chris Collinsworth commentary is really off (ie the opposite) on challenges.

Overall the gameplay seems pretty solid. I like the pro-tak but don't understand how that can work well in some cases and then they have all these shoe string tackles everywhere. The pass speeds are much better than NCAA 10. There really doesn't seem to be any glaring problems in my first few hours of play but the camera angle just leaves me frustrated and disconnected. As soon as I pop NCAA 09 back in, I immediately get a smile on my face. The camera, the college crowd, etc.

I honestly don't know if I will be keeping the game too much longer. It's not a bad game but it doesn't make me go wow! I want to keep playing. I know some of you probably think it's stupid that a camera angle can annoy me so much but it does. I can't help it.

I have been able to go deep in this game. I think the CB jams are a little too heavy at times. Give them a good jam but they ride them a long time occassionaly. Ginn went deep against a zone - hit a beautiful throw between the CB and S although I don't have that one loaded to EASW. But I do have a few nice plays. I like the Press Box Wide camera better in NCAA 09 as it's zoomed out further. I can't see the WRs enough in the Madden 10 option so I use the Wire more.

Ginn beats the jam and is wide open on a post route here.

Joey Porter just smokes Aaron Rodgers.

Ricky Williams demonstrates power running with pro-tak. Sweet TD run up the gut!

The AFL dlc add on pack can be had for free at Reebok's website. This is according to a poster at OS named insomniac33-The post is still at page one there. I went to the link and got the redemption code there, looks legit. BTW-This is for the PS3 and PSP ONLY for reasons unknown-360 users are outta luck. :wedgie:
