I was playng a game this morning and around the second quarter I realized how bored I am becoming with Madden 10. So, I took the game out of the PS3 and put NCAA 10 back in...All is better now. After getting the second patch and roster updates I am really enjoying the unpredictability of NCAA 10. I have a team I like using on NCAA, and of course the bowl games are very exciting, along with the Heisman watch/poll.This happened last year with me, Madden still reared it's true colors after numerous slider tweaks. so I stuck with NCAA for the rest of the football season. A break is in order right now with Madden nonetheless......... |

Understandable. Hell, as good as MLB The Show 09 is, I got burned out on it. It was used as trade bait for NHL 10 (which I'm liking, but will tire myself out on eventually too). |

Getting burnt on the Show is understandable. As much as I love that game, 162 plus games is too damn much! Madden hasn't been out long and I shouldn't be burnt on it,but I am. It's the same old song and dance with that game every year. It comes out of the gate with a fresh coat of "paint" and seems cool at first. Then, the "uglies" show up-Nagging issues that cannot be repaired by slider tweaks. Honestly, this game needs a new engine in the worst way.Even though they added a "halftime?" show(Which is still pale in comparison to 2K5) They have dumb asses for announcers/the same and lame camera angles (let's hope b/c helps) To sum it up, they are just painting a old and dying horse. I'm coming back to it after a break but am already thinking of a thread to start here called "What did you trade Madden in for this year?"

Silly question time-Has anyone seen any weather effects in franchise mode yet? I have not seen even a drop of rain or even clouds in any game Not even in Seattle! That's where I'm from, and I remember it raining quite often when I lived there.I played 3 games in dynasty mode on NCAA so far and already experienced a gully washer in Kansas and the other 2 games were in Fall weather conditions (cooler weather conditions) Edited by DC, Sep 17 2009, 06:43 AM.
