was able to beat the Browns 44-24, Quinn threw 3tds and I returned two of them and they scored one on me when my pass hit a DL in the helmet and it bounced to the MLB and he ran it in.

and I just read that Vick will be in the Aug. 19 update.

lost my first game to the Niners 24-17, I dominated with the Rams but I missed two FGs, lost a fumble inside the ten and threw three picks, one at the goal line. I have noticed through three games that a lot of turnovers are being returned for TDs at least two a game and Leonard Little had six sacks, fun times so far.

Well...can I say?....I absolutely LOVE this game.
Graphics,cutscenes,options,sliders everything...the whole damn package, :headbang:

I'm playing the game on slow speed,using 12min q's with 15 sec runoff,and it seems to be a great match.
I'm also currently in the process of creating sliders,obviously I'm not satisfied yet,not enough time spent with the game,but I feel like I'm getting alot closer sooner with this years version as opposed to last years.

I just finished a game against the Titans (I was the Steelers) and won 30-17. In the game Parker went out with a dislocated elbow,so I had to rely on Mendenhall,and I was quite plesed with his performance.

The first game I played was against the Browns,and was able to pull out the win 38-21...the game was ALOT closer than the score would indicate though. At halftime I was down 21-7,and couldn't do a damn thing,but that all changed when it seemed like I had to actually use strategy,and pick my plays wisely (something that has been missing from Madden..imo)
In that game,Mendenhall suffered a career ending injury :eek: ....I'm really liking the injurys also,it really builds the tension waiting for the report,then deciding if you want to put that player back in or not.

I know I've been gushing over the game so far....believe it or not there are a few areas of concern.
1-user pass rush (or lack there of) this HAS to be addresed,if I don't control a d-lineman,the cpu will have all day to throw the damn ball...and this is with cpu pass block @ 0 and my pass rush @ 100.

2-have seen some strange or "questionable" actions from my db's as well. In one instance,Collins threw a pass on 3rd and long,and instead of my db reacting to the pass,he took off and ran the opposite direction....needless to say,they converted for the 1st down.

3-holding penalties...c'mon are you serious??? 3 in a row on an extra point? I got them with the slider set to 55,after that I lowered it to 52,and it solved THAT issue...but now I rarely see ANY penalties.

Overall though,I'm very impressed with the direction they decided to take this franchise,and I will have NO problem enjoying a nice long franchise.
The key for me is..."connection"....and I really feel connected to the action,and Hammond says alot more names that I thought he originally did.

What I do worry about however....for some reason this game hasn't gotten the appreciation I feel it deserves from reviewers. Is it because you actually may have to understand football?
I just hope this doesn't lead next years version back down the "arcade" road,just to appease reviewers,and those who cry and bitch because their "tactics" no longer work.
