I still haven't gotten much interest in NCAA Football and it isn't because of Madden. One of my reasons for it is that the college football season is still a month away.
I'm the same way. I have the game, and like it a lot, but I'm not playing it a whole lot because I just don't need a football fix yet. I'm playing baseball or golf more than this.

Baseball is still getting a huge buzz with me. I started a season with NCAA but will probably start over again toward the end of the month. Also, the Show still holds my interest after all these months of gameplay :waytogo:

Going to retract my last statement and am heading forward with my NCAA dynasty (again) :silly:
Now, to go back to my" intricate patent pending lottery system" and pick another team. All this Madden talk got me in the footballin' mood again...Thanks Dawdler! :jedi:

I've seen mostly negative posts on this game over at OS lately-comparing it to Madden as if the 2 should be carbon copies of one another, even though the final version of Madden isn't out, have basically panned this game and praising Madden already. I say, not so fast! This game does have flaws, but Madden also does and will have flaws. You will see the same NCAA bashers going after Madden in a negative fashion within days of it's release, after the honeymoon is over-count on it.
College football doesn't play quite the same as pro football. Oh sure, they both basically go by the same rules and the fundamentals are comparable-But-Collgee football is very unpredictable and faster paced with more botched plays.
I like the gameplay in NCAA this time around-The presentation is lackluster, but it's an EA game-nuff said. I have had some very exciting, nail biting games/down to the wire games/blowouts and weirdo out of the blue plays from the AI.
I guess this post doesn't really make much of a statement, I just wanted to sound off and didn't want to post my thoughts at OS regarding my respect for NCAA this year. I'm sure I would have got bashed and called a fanboy or some s**t.
It does bother me that it is difficult to find a topic at OS where only the positives of NCAA are discussed. When people start to bitchin' about frickin' windsocks or calling a poster an idiot for saying they like a game, it's time for me to fly away from those bizarre forums.
If people don't like a game fine, but for the love of Mike-Just because someone likes a game does NOT make them a buffoon... Sorry for the rant-I needed to sound off somewhere.
