I got Steph at least walking right now. She's off to physio and I hope it helps and doesn't hurt.

I will definitely be renting Madden 10 when it comes out. The demo didn't make me want to rush out and buy it right away but there are some nice things. I think the pro tak stuff is pretty neat. But I have to see how the game plays on a faster setting. It just feels too clinical on slow. Plus I'd like to hear some commentary and play with my Dolphins!

I got another game in, this time playing as the Cardinals and won 10-7. The Steelers couldn't run on me at all. I didn't run much on them but had a nice TD run with Beannie Wells who was the player of the game! I must say, the constant stat pop ups and cut scenes are really nice. Had a measurement this game too. I've also seen a ref conference on a run where they debated if he crossed the line (they said no). Haven't seen a fumble contest yet.

So far,the stuff I've seen in the demo (1 min)
measuring for 1st
conference on td's.....some called td's,others not.
Injury cart
trainers looking at the injured on the field (no cart)
fumble scramble
coaches yelling at a certain player on mis assignments,or blown routes by the wr's.
qb slipping,wr slipping and refs getting knocked down.
wedge set up on ko's

I do agree that the speed seems a little slow, but I'm actually getting use to it,and really like it.
I may try the next setting up when I get the retail version...but the thing that really stands out on the adjusted speed setting....is that the "cut on a dime" issue is no longer there, which I prefer....so we'll see how the next setting plays.

I think the 360 game can run in 1080P and the PS3 runs only in 720p. Or something like that. Basically the 360 will run smoother and look better too. That sucks about your wife's back. Hope she gets better. I really like the 360 better, but the PS3 has the show. So I had to have it! :headbang:

I don't think that will affect the cut on a dime animation. I could be wrong, but I think it will only speed up the game, but the animation should still be in the game.
