Still don't see why they didn't add sliders for fumbles, injury, fatigue or speed like Madden. QB accuracy has been toned down in '10 and that seems to be good. I did like the cpu going deep in the demo and there may be some nice small improvements. But Chris on OS seemed to think that while the core gameplay was improved, it wasn't by leaps and bounds. Sideline awareness is improved (saw that on the demo myself) but rackabilly is saying injuries happen a lot. From the videos I've seen, I thought both fumbles and injuries were too high - but no sliders to fix them. |

I still don't like that camera. There are some user videos and not only is it harder to see downfield, the camera gives away the play action and draws by how it zooms. There will be no faking out users because of it. The fact those guys missed that on the NCAA team is just proof we need a new leader. |

Someone else posted a video of USC vs. Notre Dame. The cpu took some nice shots down the field but one glaring problem keeps popping up and I've noticed this from earlier videos as well (and in Madden too!). The cpu defense is not shifting over pre-snap to counter strongside formations. If you check out the 3:15 mark of the 2nd quarter USC-Notre Dame vid, the user selects a strong I formation and yet the cpu defense stays completely balanced as though running against a balanced 2 TE set. Makes no sense. You should be able to run a Power-I play against that defense and pound the ball at will. I hope Madden fixes this too. I don't remember this being an issue last year. I also wonder if the ability to release the ball while being hit will become an issue. Many balls are sailing up for easy INTs. We don't need more INTs in this game although Chris has said that he sees this being improved. |

Well, from everything I've read in regards to 10,it would appear this game is falling on the effectiveness of the sliders, and from personal experience.....EA is not known for making the sliders very effective. So,all in all....It doesn't sound like I will be missing much, especially since playing 08 again, and I'm sure that will last me till Madden drops. |
