I was starting to get down on my offline UNC dynasty. It was just kind of boring. So I started an Oregon dynasty, and it's a world of difference. I guess it's more fun for me to do a dynasty with a team I really like. I was trying to stay away from Oregon because they were my main dynasty last year, but their offense is so much more fun this year, I'm sticking with them. |

Got hyped on the games that were on tv last night-time to knock the dust off my NCAA disc and get moving-Only problem is the same one I have every year....I don't have a "favorite" college team-I watch some of the games on tv, see a team I like and then want to start the dynasty all over again-errr. Just out of curiosity, does everyone here pick the same team every year or go with someone different each season? do you restart your dynasty a few times like me or just stay with the first one you picked? Right now, I am using the Texas Longhorns and am systematically destroying all who go up against me. I like their division but they are just way too powerful and there is not much of a challenge there, even with slider tweaks. I don't want to overtweak sliders so I get wiped out by scrub teams. Guess I need to take another look at all the divisions and go back to my "lottery system". Edited by DC, Sep 4 2009, 07:53 AM.

I usually pick a new team every year Coffee. I've been Ole Miss twice, Georgia, Alabama, Miami, Wake Forest, Colorado and had a small dynasty with UCLA as well. I'm a fan of Michigan but I'm not a die hard. I prefer to take a new team every year but I get so invested with recruiting that I just stay with that team for awhile. I took Georgia in NCAA 06 when I played on Heisman (sliders in my favour). I went undefeated and won it all surviving some great games. I took Bama in NCAA '08 because I felt All American was hard - never sniffed a title game and I can't even remember if I won an SEC title either. I took Colorado, Wake Forest and Ole Miss more as projects that would take awhile. But I always want a BCS team. I took Miami this time because I thought I would quickly dump that dynasty when NCAA 10 came out (I started the dynasty on July 3rd). But I stuck with NCAA 09 and I don't think I will go a 4th season with Miami since my team is getting too good. Not sure. I did win a title with Wake Forest after 7 long years. I won a title with Ole Miss in one of the dynasties after awhile. Right now I think I might start a Texas A & M dynasty soon. They are only 79 overall so it will take me a bit to build up that team although Texas is rich in talent. Edited by Rudy, Sep 4 2009, 10:31 AM.

I normally don't, but I have this year. I've been Oregon, Georgia, Clemson, San Diego St., and Navy. In 06, I went with UGA, last year I played with Oregon offline and UGA online. I had planned to be Oregon online and UNC offline this year, but when I couldn't find an online dynasty I wanted to be in, I started up an offline Oregon dynasty and am having a ton of fun. I like having a team I actually care about. I think that was my problem with UNC. I didn't care all that much. |

Restarted a Dynasty today-The winner of my lottery was The Kansas State Wild Cats. I created a custom schedule-First game was against Arkansas St. Probably the best game of video football I played all year Madden 10 can take a lesson about pass rushing from this game. I sacked Arkansas State's QB 5 times! Probably because I'm so use to going all guns blazing in Madden, the D-line in general is rather meger compared to this game.Ark. sacked me 3 times and I got picked 3 times. The passing game on NCAA 10 is great! If this game had the Animations that Madden has, it would be a game I'd play until the next version drops-It was that fun. I can live with the different graphics though, so all is fine. It was a big defensive battle all the way-I lost 13-10... I was about 5 yds away from the goal line after a huge hail Mary pass at the end of the 4th quarter. I had no time outs left and just couldn't scramble to the line quick enough. So close to going to OT or a TD win. I don't feel cheated at all playing this game today. Real dropped passes, nice overtrhows and drives that fizzle out after a few 1st downs. This is football-And I'm about as happy as I can be right now with video gaming football. Edited by DC, Sep 15 2009, 07:23 PM.
