Rudy, you should put in your signature line over at OS, "NCAA 10 Fan of the Year!"

seriously though you have every right to state your opinion and why should you have to put up with a bad camera angle, we are the consumer and we should expect a superior product not an inferior one. for the price of games nowadays we should expect better and not have to deal with it, like some have said. We don't have to support a product just because its the only one out there, thats just wrong. Rudy, I respect your opinion and I'm glad you post all the info here, if not I would have bought an inferior game and I won't buy another NCAA game till I read your seal of approval. and it really annoyed me how you were treated over there at OS but what can you do everybody is entitled to their opinion (even if they're delusional )

Taking a point from Dawdler: Companies raised game prices $10 due to the "overhead and production costs" of making games. Supposedly they need more people to make these games since these new systems (PS3/360) were so much more complex. As the age of enlightenment continues via the internet people are expecting MORE out of these games not only in features, but games that aren't riddled with bugs. I like video games, but they aren't what they used to be for better or worse. I just wish the industry realized that they need to make games that ship with better quality instead of being rushed to make deadlines. PATCHING CONSOLES GAMES IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! We as consumers should get a game that's 99% in working order the day it releases. No game has been 100% since that's impossible. At least the glitches and bugs were anomalies on the PS2/XBox and not regular mishaps like most games ship with now. The "patch it later" philosophy is horrible. It's nice having the ability to patch games on the console, but unlike the PC that is online in nearly most all cases now, not every console owner goes online or has highspeed online to get these patches. Punishing those people for not having broadband sucks. I can see patching the online parts of games, but when the single player or core part of games are being patched on a console, that's horrible. That being said. NCAA 10 is shipping with some pretty big bugs and I don't see how people at OS, EA, and other message boards can really give the NCAA 10 team much praise. This is AWFUL they are having to go patch heavy for the day it releases. |
