Well-I got this game for my B-Day present. Hmmmm-So here I am with it thinking "what the hell, if it sucks I will trade it in for Madden". I ripped the plastic off-d/l'd the update and here's my very quick take on this game-
I love it! For starters, I really like the lock player feature-The new camera is fine for me and the graphics look pretty spiffy on my PS3. I really like the different views on player lock and hope Madden has that. I lock on to all kinds of different positions when playing D.
I always wanted a game where I could just play the parts I wanted. Example: I like passing as the qb but don't like playing the receiver position-fixed. I just lock it on the qb and let it roll from there. Same with running-I like to just hand off and let the rb's cpu generated stats take over, so to speak.
I have always been in the middle of wanting to just coach and kinda play at the same time. I have that this year. I also love the way you can mix up jersey's this year. There are probably 20 different combos for Oregon's jerseys(even though I don't use them) this is good for anyone who likes mixing that aspect up, like me. this is one gift I think I will be using for quite awhile.
When Madden drops, I don't think I will trade this one in. I want to play both this year. I will just have to play less of other "important" games to fit in my ultra busy lifestyle.
 I shouldn't have read your impressions, now I'm intrigued by this game :jedi: , I feel the same about the passing game I like being the QB but not the receiver and I'd like to stay locked on as the RB from time to time. I do like that you can mix and match the unis.

nice to have you back posting Coffee.
But Dawdler, I'm your "one stop shop" for the straight up lowdown on video gaming goodness :hehe:
don't I know it, I haven't bought a game since the last time you gave your seal of approval and since you are liking NCAA 10. I may have to cave since we are very similar gamers in the way we play and approach a game.

pretty simple-I write down all the teams I'm interested in,put em' in a hat, grab a name and the winner gets the job. I've tried multiple team dynasties before but I don't anymore. I don't want to get burned out engaging in overkill. The only other games I play are one's that look important as the season wears on.
That's OLD SCHOOL and freaking awesome!!! :headbang:

Glad you guys are loving the game. I wish I liked the player lock and new camera but the panning just bugs me. Maybe I'm weird but I just couldn't deal with it. It makes me appreciate '09 though! I popped it back in and it just feel nice!

After putting in NCAA 09 again (my brother still has it). The running animations on the players in 09 look better than 10.

The up close graphics have a slight edge to 10, but the regular game 09 might look a bit more detailed partly because the camera is in closer on 09 than 10's camera that has things slightly further out.

Elsewise the gameplay is a bit tighter in 10, which is what most people are going to worry about.

Still sucks that they didn't include both cameras. There's always "next year." :splat:

Does anyone here do multiple team dynasties? ....It's fun to check the standings in conferences throughout the season and look for the "big" games and play some of them. I also play a fair amount of bowl games too.
Bowl games is what college football is all about IMO. That's basically why multiple team dynasties don't work for me-Too many other games that have imporatance regarding the end of the season to play.
