This will be an interesting game tonight. Hopefully Ted reports back with the results of our game like he did with our online matchup...........that was cool. |

I started a season this morning-After debating who to use-I used my "lottery" system again and UNC won-Other choices were the Texas Longhorns/Fresno State Bulldogs and South Carolina....... My first game was against a bunch of scrubs-I destroyed them like I should have. It was a mercy killing of 56-0. Just to make sure my sliders were not just working for me, I took the Missouri Tigers and went up against Illinois. For the first 2 quarters they put the screws to me. I was down by 24 points The second half I mixed up the playbook so much I don't think Don Shula could have figured out my gameplan I also stepped up to an aggressive gameplan while playing on defense(Risking some penalties) not too bad. I intercepted them 2 times and recovered 2 fumbles. My defense was laying the lumber on my pesky opponent toward the end of the game I was up by 3 points with less than 2 minutes to go. I called a outside handoff to be sneaky, get the first and make Illi. use up their timeouts. Well, they stripped the ball from me and ran it back for a td- The booth challenged it and called the ball dead-Too bad Susanne So, I sat on the ball and won. I think my sliders thus far are doing nice. Great game, lotsa fun and had me on the edge throughout the whole second half.....Only in week 1 here and I already had more excitement than I had with NCAA 09 or Madden from last year...... Ok, well almost. |

pretty simple-I write down all the teams I'm interested in,put em' in a hat, grab a name and the winner gets the job. I've tried multiple team dynasties before but I don't anymore. I don't want to get burned out engaging in overkill. The only other games I play are one's that look important as the season wears on.
