Rynoaid has some great impressions in the supporters' forum at OS: http://www.osatwork.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2039818571#post2039818571 |

If these impressions "make" me break down and get this game and I don't like it, somebody's gonna get hurt real bad! (I hope this is the right link - can't see youtube at work) Edited by Rudy, Jul 13 2009, 11:08 AM.

I think I'm gonna rent it tomorrow. I want to see for myself how this game is so far. |

That video of Rhombic playing a random online game was epic. It was really compelling stuff. I still think the QBs seems way too accurate, though I realize that we are only seeing the completions. Still, too many balls were completed into traffic for my liking. Also a few passes where the QB was hit as he threw and he still managed to float it in there for a long completion. I saw a pass rush, but again, this is a user vs. user game. The lack of a DL pass rush will rear it's ugly head in user vs. CPU games and CPU vs. CPU games. I'd like to see AuburnAlumni's impressions but I don't feel like wading through OS to find them. He's completely over the top at times, but he is also fair in his assessment. He usually loves NCAA at first and then starts finding things he doesn't like, so he may still be in his honeymoon phase. If the patch works as promised (and I don't believe for a minute they will fix the sliders after last year's debacle) then I may cave in an get the game. I just think the pass rush is broken and it's not something a patch can fix. I would love to be proven wrong. I still am pissed at the love and attention Madden got this year compared with more of the same old/same old for NCAA. If NCAA had Madden's innovations, I'd be in pure gaming heaven. As it is now, I am waiting for the NCAA patch and am leery that it will actually make a difference. My pre-order for Madden has already been placed. |

Can't read the last post. Adam Thompson said the patch should be out some time next week but he wouldn't guarantee it. |
