The impressions are very positive so far, for the most part. And I know you guys think it's the honeymoon phase, but you know what, I went back and read some of the impressions, and 2-3 days before release last year, it was actually pretty negative. I'm still not paying full price, but I'm much more optimistic now than I was. If we can get the cpu to run the ball well and fix the pass rush, it might be a great game.
I hate every game. :splat:

Wasn't this the exact same thing said last year as well?
Also like last year,we're waiting on a patch to "supposedly" fix these issues?

There's to much "deja vu" for me. I understand they did fix some things, but alot of the complaints I'm reading about are the exact same ones as last year....cpu running and pass rush.

It all depends on how sensitive Ea decides to make the sliders, and based on past history...I wouldn't hold my breath.

I'm not saying we should all go out and buy the game, but I think calling it NCAA 09.5 wasn't entirely fair. It seems to hve made a lot of improvements - hum offense is more challenging, AI adaptation, gameplanning, progressive lighting, new uniforms, etc. are all great additions.

Penalty sliders seem to be MUCH more sensitive this year, and people are getting realistic penalty numbers.

This is still a sit and wait approach. As much as Madden looks like it's gotten a huge boost in the gameplay ass, I'm still taking a sit and wait approach for it as well.

Hopefully we can get an ETA on the patch soon.
