NCAA 10 is a distant memory. I can't say for sure if it will always stay that way but I do know I won't be a beta tester for them (I won't bother with it until the patches hit) and I won't pay full price for it. If I do eventually get NCAA 10, it will be used.

I had no control over that but did knock Tebow out of the game briefly!
That's what I meant to say, "take him out..." but I used the ole "Bench him" line.

:headbang: Proud of you!

Good idea on the USED.

That's what I'm waiting for so that way I have 7 days to take it back for refund.

Week 4 - North Carolina (2-1) @ Miami (2-1)

Both teams are 2-1 and Miami keeps the season long tradition of close games going. They seem to play down to their competition but the defense was fantastic in this game. Miami's defense had 6 sacks, only allowed 5 first downs all game and forced 6 punts. But they also gave up a kick return for a TD on UNC's first possession and threw a lousy pick 6 in the first half. The pick 6 wasn't a bad decision but simply a terrible pass.

Overall Miami's offense struggled to run the ball this game. UNC blitzed quite a bit and dared Miami to go deep. They also got 5 sacks on the game and forced Miami to punt 4 times. But the blitzing did catch up with them as Sam Shields had a big day. He caught a nice deep ball here.

But despite a game where Miami largely outplayed UNC, they were down 14-10 going into the 4th quarter. Miami was 0-3 in three trips to the red zone (two picks and one missed FG) but got another long reception from Shields to get them inside the red zone. Converting a 4th and 1, Miami eventually punched a TD in to make it 17-14. The defense held and Miami added another field goal to go on to win 20-14.

Miami Stats:
Harris 19-30, 225 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs (has been injured briefly in every game so far)
Cooper 19-67, 0 TD
James 16-37, 1 TD
Sam Shields 5 rec for 131 yards, 1 TD
Both teams had WRs drop 4 balls

UNC
Yates 5-6, 26 yards, 0/0 (got hurt - out 4 weeks)
Sexton 7-14, 65 yards 0/0
Draughn 11-38

Next game is a big one - 3-1 FSU at 3-1 Miami. I have had a bunch of recruits come in the last two weeks and a bunch more for this rivalry game. No recruits have committed yet.

Jacory Harris' accuracy has been a question mark at time. He misses some deep throws and his accuracy really hurt on that pick 6.

Miami's defense is very strong. The cpu hasn't been able to mount a consistent ground game against me. My WRs have oodles of speed. When the cpu blitzes, I can make them pay if Harris hits his target.

Week 5 - FSU (3-1) @ Miami (3-1) Rivalry Game

After four straight close weeks, the Hurricanes laid an egg in one of the biggest games of the year. The team failed to show up in the pouring rain and they were pounded by FSU 48-10. The Hurricanes never scored an offensive TD as the only highlight was off a kickoff return. Coach Rudy promised changes on offense and vowed to be better next week at Michigan. Some of the recruits on hand were less than impressed as well.

As bad as the offense was, and it was horrible, the Miami team was still in the game just before half. Trailing 13-3 and having the ball near midfield, they tried a quick pass play to set up a hail mary and disaster struck as the clock ran out.

Down 20-3 at the half, it didn't get any better to start the second half as a fumble deep in their own end led to another score. Marve started the second half as Harris was benched at halftime.

Down 27-3, the only highlight for Miami.

Just to sum up the game, take a look at this 3rd down conversion. Ponder evades a sack and dumps the ball off. The RB then makes the first tackler miss and picks up the first down.

To top it all off. They ran up the score, throwing the ball deep and using play action with under two minutes left to score. There will be payback!

Overall it was just an awful quicksand game. The more the play the worse it gets. I'm going to switch to the Penn State playbook to shake things up. The ground game was lousy and the passing game worse. The pass defense didn't make many plays either.

Miami:
Harris 10-23, 73 yards, 0 TD, 3 INT
Marve 16-22, 99 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT
Cooper 9-32
James 6-13
Sam Shields followed up last week's great game with 1 catch and 4 drops! My receivers dropped 11 balls in the rain! I was sacked 6 times as well. Thanks OL!

FSU's Ponder was 33-45, 332 yards, 3 TD and 1 INT. Only sacked him twice.
Carr has 8 grabs for 93 yards.

I'm -9 on turnover differential now. Ugly. My defense is 5th in the ACC but my offense is dead last when you exclude return yardage.

On to Michigan though!
