Just read that two backup QBs in Miami transferred in real life and Cannon Smith was one of them. Great name and he's still my backup QB right now but he has no shot at real playing time in his career barring injury. He probably should have transferred on my team! I just hope my stud 5* freshman QB doesn't get any crazy ideas after I'm redshirting him. I'm not even going to recruit a QB this year - he will be the man and at least a three year starter unless he leaves early.

I uploaded the two videos to my last game and added it to my game post on the previous page. Here they are:

#19 Ole Miss (1-0) @ #7 Miami (1-0)

The Hurricanes humble the Rebels 51-31 in Miami behind Travis Benjamin!

Travis Benjamin returned two more kickoffs for TD in this game as he helped carry the team to victory. Jevan Snead played well but the backup QB did not. Both starting quarterbacks left the game briefly due to injury. The difference? Cannon Smith comes in and throws one pass for Miami - a 95 yard TD pass on a busted coverage! N.Stanley comes in and throws one pass - an INT!

Miami has not lost wearing green since they switched late last year. Will it propel them to the top? #4 PSU visits now #6 Miami next week.

Here's a nice Ole Miss TD where the WR does a couple spins:

A flanker screen, one good move and he's gone for Miami!

Miami Stats
J.Harris 9-15 60%, 158 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 3 sacks
G.Cooper 22-116, 5.2 ypc, 1 TD
L.Miller 7-30, 4.2 ypc
J.Harris 3-21 (a few nice scrambles)

Ole Miss
J.Snead 21-28 75%, 261 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 3 sacks
B.Bolden 16-39, 2.4 ypc
J.Snead 11-22, 2.0 (ran some options but took off on some scrambles too)

Some notes:

I've now played 131 games in my profile (it's probably a few more since I forgot to manually save at times and of course this doesn't include half games) but I've returned 28 kicks for TD and 2 punts for TDs. A lot of that has been Benjamin the last 2+ seasons in Miami. The cpu has only returned four kicks against me for TDs.

There are a few too many broken tackles. I've usually allowed this to create some bigger plays but I'm going to bump up the tackle slider 5 points for both sides to tone down a little of this. First slider change in a long time.

On a somewhat sad note (but not 100% confirmed) I think this may be my last season playing with Miami. My team is a 96 overall and is getting too good. It happened sooner than I like since I started with a team that is better than what I normally use. I will make my run at the title and probably try another school like Texas A & M or Kentucky next season. Not completely sure yet but there are going to be too many games against bad teams where I will probably destroy them. I've said this before and returned to win a title after one more crack (took 7 years with Wake Forest in '07).
