The Ohio State is #3 and will come in my 4th game after Virginia. Oklahoma is up next though on the road. Can't wait to finally play a home game with Miami's custom stadium sounds now.

Miami (1-0) @ #4 Oklahoma (0-0)

Sam Bradford decided to leave early for the pros and so a true freshman QB led this star studded team in Norman. But his nerves in his first college game proved too much as he threw 3 INTs in the first quarter that really hurt Oklahoma. The first mistake in the game though was by Miami's Jacory Harris who threw a pick on a crossing pattern. The ball was slightly behind the receiver and the defender made a great play. I made the TD saving tackle on my 1 yard line on the first possession of the game. Oklahoma inexplicably lined up with 3 WRs and tried to pass the ball in on the first play. This is what happened.

Just an awful throw. Instead of a certain deficit for Miami, they had the ball back and were able to march down the field and score. The Hurricane offense was good the entire first half although Javarris James got hurt. Cooper played well and will remain the starting RB in the future. But he had a costly fumble just before the half on a great strip by a DB who punched the ball out.

Still, I was able to get the ball back and with timeouts kicked a FG to take a 20-7 lead into halftime. Oklahoma bounced back in the second half constantly keeping within a TD. It was 23-17 in the 4th for Miami when Miami came up with a big 4th down stop on its own 34 yard line. The first play afterward, Graig Cooper scored the game winning TD on a great run.

I got the 2 point conversion to make it 31-17. Oklahoma scored one more time to cut the lead to 31-24 and got the ball back with just over 1:00 left on its own 10 yard line and only 1 time out left. But the Hurricane defense held and Miami wins 31-24.

Miami Stats:
J.Harris 17-23, 147 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 4 sacks
G.Cooper 21-152, 1 TD
J.James 12-39, 1 TD (left with minor injury)
L.Miller 4-12, scored first TD

OU Stats:
B.Walker (true frosh) 13-25, 163 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT (all first quarter), 2 sacks
D.Murray 16-111, 1 TD (he was scary)

But despite knocking off the #7 Florida and #4 OU on the road, the coaches don't even have Miami ranked in the Top 25! Ludicrous! At least I got some votes and am roughly #29.

While Tebow and Bradford left for the pros, Maclin and Crabtree did not and are in the Top 4 for Heisman votes.

Nice win over OU!

Good luck with THE Ohio State :waytogo:

I'm anticipating the fallout from that game.
I have this feeling that OSU is going to CHOKE! :brickwall:

Virginia is no pushover. They are a B+ team and gave me a tough time last year. I can't be looking ahead to OSU.
