Check out this thread at OS if you want to read all the bugs and glitches in the NCAA 10 demo: http://www.osatwork.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327786 I really can't believe how rough the demo is. For people that are actually going to get this game I would hope a lot of this crap is fixed. The crowd chants sound terrible. There are some really big problems with this game that we know of before release: * Rosters are wrong (to be patched) * Sliders are broken (to be patched) * New camera unliked by many but no option for old camera * New camera gives away draw plays and play-action because of the zoom or lack of zoom * Clock movement is wonky * snaps over the QB head in PS3 are immediately called incomplete (to be fixed on retail copy) * I had a play where the cpu just ran down my 5 yard line rather than score * Defenders don't hustle back on defense in the no huddle resulting in encroachment penalties * You can call a dime and man up defense resulting in robo QB immediately snapping and throwing a quick incomplete pass * Challenges and results are goofy * Rocket catch is still in the game * over repetitive tackle animations (supposed to be fixed in retail) Edited by Rudy, Jun 22 2009, 08:00 AM.

Oh, the cpu still takes the ball first in OT if it wins the coin flip. Dumb. |

I'll remember that. You can trust me. I will not buy this game day one. 100% guaranteed. Right now I won't even rent it unless they patch in working sliders AND the old camera angle. The demo was so buggy that I'm guessing NCAA 10 will be a mess and require at least one if not two more patches than the one they are already working on. Not a good year for college football fans from EA and what's worse is that there is no hope for the future. These guys are focusing on all the wrong things imo. They desperately need a new design team. I will give Madden a shot this year. This might be a year I don't buy any football game. That would be a shame. |

Let me just add that Greg Heddleston said they spent a lot of time on the new camera - I hate it. They also spent a lot of time on Teambuilder and Season Showdown - don't care for them. What kind of things did they spend their time on that I actually like? They got the cpu to throw the deep ball. Good but I don't see much evidence that robo QB is gone or that they won't throw a ton of picks again. |
