OMT said they have tweaked the pump fake animation along with some break block stuff since the demo. He also said we will find some tackle animations play out far too much - fixed for retail.

Uhh... Crappleberries (again).

So this means that OMT has prepped for people to HATE the demo and sing the song of "No NCAA this year."

No. Someone had just made the point that the demo will be 99% the same as the retail and he just pointed out there are a few differences between the two. He said there are some big problems with the pump fake in the demo that were fixed.

If there's some issues with the demo then why even put out a demo? Why not put it out a couple weeks before instead of nearly 2 months before release?

The demo is often done much earlier than the final code because they have to strip it down and prepare it. It has certain size requirements and it's not as easy to get it ready. They usually have to strip down audio which is why many older demos didn't even have commentary. Then it has to be sent to both MS and Sony for certification, just like a game, before it can be put out there. It just takes awhile and EA likes to release their demos before the game releases. I'm sure the demo will be similar to retail but just have a few glitches.
