The thing that stuck out the most for me was the "defense" chant from NCAA Basketball was used in the demo. I sure hope it's gone from the retail version. There's no excuse for that.

MM. I expect the gameplay to feel almost identical to the demo. The two builds were only 3-4 weeks apart. OMT said they changed up some of the tackle animations and a couple other things.

I'm sure there are some nice AI improvements that you will see over time. But I do think the pass rush is an issue right now. I don't think the cpu will be able to run the ball either still from all the impressions I've read. Working sliders are a must.

Honestly, I was disappointed more by things I wasn't expecting. I really don't like the new camera. That is probably my biggest negative so far. I expect the graphics and sound to be better on the retail version. But I'm not buying this day one anymore. I will wait until after the patch is released and get impressions and I might get the game if it's cheap. The only real positive I saw in my limited time was the deep passing game. Very nice that the cpu goes deep now.

Faint praise indeed when one of the things you are most happy about is that the cpu now throws the deep ball - something it should have been doing all along.

Sorry Quint. I can't read what you wrote. Have you checked out the demo yet?
